This book by Raven Grimassi is excellent. I learned new stuff here that i didn`t learn before. Although i would recommend this book for people that are in the phase of beginner to intermediate as some concepts i would have had problems with if i didn`t read more simplier books.
also i think this was the fastest of any Wiccan book i have ever read. Right now i`m currently reading WICCAN MYSTERIES so far is another good book.

Thanks, I am happy that you found something of value in my writings. I do try to not write the same rehash of things that we find over and over in the majority of books being published these days.
I have a new book coming out this September titled - Witchcraft, A Mystery Tradition, which you may also find to be of interest. I believe that readers will find a great deal here that has not been in print before. One particular area of interest is the Wheel of the Year, where I present a cohesive theme that carries a mated Goddess and God through the year with related myths and legends.
The book uses a Celtic format for deities, rites, and seasonal themes, but also contains a comparison with southern European parallels.

A little OT but i was also impressed that i just found out you were one of Scott Cunningham's teachers or something like that.

Yes, Scott was one of my students back in 1979. He studied with me for about 3 years or so. We were friends as well, but after he became published we drifted apart. Scott had a strong preference for a self-styled approach to the Craft, and I tend to be something of the Old Guard. ;)
My last conversation with him was by phone, just a couple of months or so before he crossed over. My fondest memories of him are of his sense of humor. He loved puns, and would go on and on, despite the death threats - LOL

Actually, The Wiccan Mysteries is usually the first book I reccomend to anyone.. reguardless of thier level of education. and for people who are new to the path, I would say it should be Required Reading... it just puts out alot of facts without all the personal bias I see in other books...
In my Personal Library, It sits right next To Amber K's "True Magic" the lil green book (which is the second book i reccomend) and alongside of Delores Ashcroft Nowicki/ J.H. Brennan's "Magical use of thoughtforms" a garunteed Third eye opener! :D

Well currently i`m reading it. I agree it's an excellent book. Morgana SidheRaven of Morgana's Chamber in NYC has a list of recommended books to read in her Wicca 101 class. So that is one of three books by Raven Grimassi she recommends. Wiccan Magick of course and his Encyclopedia of Wicca and Witchcraft are the other two.

Will you be doing any book tours? I've been using your Encyclopedia for some time now and try to get through something every day and a point of growth and learning. Also, do you know which stores are selling your new book?
Brightest Blessings!

I'm in the US, and I've seen it in Barnes & Noble. I think I've seen it in Borders too.

Thank you, I appreciate your kind words. I'm talking with my Publisher about doing an update of The Wiccan Mysteries. It was written about seven or eight years ago, and I think it would be good to bring some of the historical data up to date. I'd also like to expand upon some of the Mystery teachings in the book.
Best regards - Raven

Thanks Ben, I appreciate it. From your various posts that I've read to date, I think you would find this book to be of interest. Perhaps even enough not to leave the copy at the bookstore. ;)
