I know I said to somebody, "Wouldn't it be great if he phoned back and he was alread shopping the series?"

Well, he is. It's partly an evaluationary thing, but he sent all the materials I mailed down "to one of dem big director guys" (I have long since learned never to ask, "Who?") to see what he thinks of it, "an' mebbe he'll even buy it, or option it."

Oh, and when this director guy gets back to him--I'm to phone in a week and a half to two weeks ("an' you call anytime you want")--if all is well, then we do the contract signing! He already likes Middling Faire a lot himself, so I think things look pretty good! :bouncysmi :fpompoms :fprtyman2

Phew! I'm going to fall down now. I have to rest my dialing finger. :D

He didn't get to come because the was directing an episode of Xena.
So we got Walter Koenig instead.

Then when we went to Dragon Con in Atlanta.. Kevin Smith was supposed to be there and he broke his leg in a motorcycle accident on the way and didn't show up. But we did get to see Ray Bradbury, Larry Niven, Jerry Porunell, Jim Lee. Lots of other people.. including..the guy who did C3PO from Star wars...
