Bad Ghosts

Do you believe there are bad spirits??

I know that there is at least one spirit in my house hold because of my toaster moving to wierd locations in the kitchen but lately the atmosphere is very "crummy" in my house hold. So much negative energies. I have always felt like this spirit wouldnt hurt me but does have a negative disposition.. is this possible?

Perhaps you could just talk with it...or do things in the house to help change it's frequency so to speak...

Oh yes, I believe in bad spirits, or at least those that are foul-tempered. Had one muck with me once, made me pretty sick to my stomach and thought I was going to pass out. It was on a ghost tour I took. Turns out from the tour guide, a professional ghost chaser, that one person per tour gets affected like that.

I have meet sprits/ghost from time to time. Some where not friendly, but I would not call them evil. There may be evil ones out there, but I have never meet one.

Yes, absolutely. But I feel that some spirits that were evil in their life just refuse to cross over because they don't want to deal with their karma on the other side.... :lol:...so they're still evil here.
Or, they've just become unhappy spirits because of their situation.

I'm confused.... ghosts or just spirits in general? There is a difference. ghosts are an imprint in time; a broken record almost. "bad" ghosts are quite harmless really. however, an unidentified spirit can be much much worse, if it's malevolent.

I dont believe they are evil. I dont belive in bad. Its an opinion. Its bad because I done like it. Its not bad to the one doing or thinking it. In spirits the same as people, its an opinion.

totally. There are good, bad & indifferent. But I know there are bad b/c I've felt them. Nothing like the fear a vibe of pure evil can put in ya....'specially when ya don't kwno what to do about it.

I dont believe they are evil. I dont belive in bad. Its an opinion. Its bad because I done like it. Its not bad to the one doing or thinking it. In spirits the same as people, its an opinion.
I do believe in good and bad...although i believe the line can be very thin...and there are many shades of gray. I believe that there are spirits who's presence give off an evil vibe that we can sense.As others have said, if you're a nasty person in life, death doesn't neccesarily(I think I had a brain freeze on the spelling of that word) change that.

i believe that spirits can have a good or bad vibe. i also believe that they can harm people if they put their will towads it.....i know from personal experience.

I certainly believe in spirits and ghosts - and I know some good ones, which I think means there must also be some bad ones (yin/yang - everything balances out).

Not to be cliche, but if one is bugging you maybe it has unfinished business? Or maybe you could reason with it to leave you alone in the manner that is bugging you? :vanish:

Maybe a better word than "bad" is "malevolent." There are some "ghosts" who are malevolent towards living humans.

I put ghosts in quotations because what we perceive as ghosts are not always those who were once living humans.

There are different types of manifestations of spirit of formerly flesh and blood humans.
Rarely, spirits are allowed to stay long enough to say goodbye to loved ones. Occasionally they may be allowed to return for a good purpose but they will directly do that purpose, not hang out somewhere lurking and waiting for just anyone to come along.
No one is "unable to cross over" because of a terrible death. That's a myth. Mediums who try to help may be able to get them to go on, but it's not because they didn't "know how." Does a fetus need to "know how" to born?
Potential malicious ghosts include:
Some are not interactive and seem to repeat the same motions over and over unaware that anyone else is present, like eternal sleepwalkers. (Don't wake them)
Some are interactive, many tell of speaking to and even dancing with, riding in a car with, feeling the touch of, reading the writing of, hearing the voice of, having conversation with...ghosts.
Some are interactive in prankishly malicious ways like poltergiest activity (which spirit often vamps the energies of preteens adolescents and young adults.)
Some are interactive in maliciously frightening ways that do not harm the body but deliberately terrorize.
Some harm maim or kill by indirect actions, such as the turning on of gas burners or the knocking over of lit candles. Making ladders slip, stones fall from canyons, branches from trees.
Not all "accidents" are the result of this, of course.
Some are slightly more directly malicious, causing scratches and/or bites. These seem to feed on the energies of terror.
Some are more powerful in their malice as well. However those who have been killed by such are not here to tell the ghostly tales to us, are they? Unless they too find a way to break karmic laws.

To underestimate these is not wise. To deal with them in general is unwise. When the hair rises on the nape of your neck, it is a serious warning. Banish anything that causes this, & or shield and get away from it. Fascination with it draws it to you for a game of wills in which the unsuspecting living does not have the upper hand.

Many who seem pitiful and harmless are looking to get into your body so they can live again without having to cycle through the karmic "judgement" period first. Perhaps they are afraid of it for good reason, having been equally malicious in life. They try to fool you into a false sense of security for a while before they slip in when you are unaware.

Guard/shield against it. One spirit to a body is the karmic rule which they don't mind trying to break. At the expense of your sanity.
Ever heard of multiple personality disorder? Split personality? Brain chemistry is highly aggravated by two or more spirits in one body, which is why science sometimes blames this sort of thing on brain chemistry. The chemicals are a symptom, not a cause. Bad news.

I believe that spirits or ghosts are like memories of a sort. I agree with Phi in that I don't see them as dead people coming back to us. Sometimes energies can find their way to people who are sensitive to them and I think some can sense the 'personalities' of theses entities as either neagative or sorrowful or positive. Evil to me is unique to the living humans and I can't see them in the spirit world as evil. Negitive feelings could very well come from a bad life or something that remains undone, a restless spirit so to speak. I've never sensed this myself but have sensed certain vibes at ancient ruins.
