Do you ask people their birthdates before their readings?

I do some numerology so I find it helps form some background, but people do not always want to tell.

Nope. I go on as little info as possible. I usually just use their name.

Nope. I'm like KimberSly and usually just use their name -- or even just their username if that's all that's given. For the most part, I've had readings that are right on. I think there have been only one or two instances where I was off.

Acutally, I do like to get at least their sign, not necessarily their bdays before I do a reading. It helps me put things into perspective :)

I have a bit of a bias on this subject I think - my sister was born on the 8th month, 4th day of 1984, weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz. - so every time I do any cards for her, I check for significance with 84. Also, her lucky number is 24, which 2 times 4 is 8 so 24 and 84 for some reason go together for me for her... I don't know it's just the way I think. So I look for 24 and 84 for her... and 7's for me (I was born on the 8th month 7th day of 1981, at 7lbs 11oz).

But I only do this for my sister and I - as far as I know there is no one else with numerically significant things in their life in my family... and I've never done a reading for anyone outside my family.

If I was to speculate about that though, I think that I would not use numbers unless the person felt it was important enough to mention themselves before we began.,, I wouldn't ask for it.

If they want to tell me, I'll use it. Otherwise, nope :)
