Shadows

Sometimes I will be walking through my home and I will see something.. a black image of a person.. not enough to make out details.. more like a shadow.. then I look and there is nothing.. but a few friends of mine have said they have seen them too... :huh: What do YOU think they are? :huh:

i'm not exactly sure to this either...i see dark 'things' but not shadows....
they are always longated black things 'not black..but like a void'

and they just appear for a sec?

I see things like this when I'm half asleep but not quite unconcious yet. It usually takes me a moment to realize it's something out of the ordinary...and then I become startled and wake myself up. I'm not sure if I'm just asleep enough to be dreaming or if I'm really seeing something.

I see them too, usuall when I'm falling asleep (probably because your mind is more relaxed and open to such things, but I've seen them in a waking state too). I believe they're spirits of some sort that are simply wandering around. Sometimes we notice them, and sometimes we don't.

I often see a shadow of a hawk flying overhead, even when there is no light to see a shadow, usually when I need reassurance about something. I interpret this as my guardian angel. My magick name is Shadow Hawk because of this. I should have signed up here with that name, but i dodn't think about it...

I chose other because I believe it can be any of the above, I see them sometimes, sometimes it I think it is just my imagination. Other times, I know something or someone is there. I also see long thingies, or short blobby thingies that move in that fast slow movement you usuallly get in dreams.

My male friend walked by his bathroom once and thought his dad was in the tub and he went back to ask his dad if he wanted to have the door shut for privacy but there was no one there. He explained it to me as a black shadow figure. Hmmm :eyez:

I have a few in my house....they could be something, they could be I need to see the eye doctor too:p I don't know.

I voted other because I believe it could be any one of those things.
But I heard kind of a neat story about it being called stickman. Every time you see him, you're getting a glimpse of him when you're not supposed to and it's an omen that something bad is about to happen.
I don't believe that, but it still creeps me out everytime I see it. :lookaroun

I remember though that after me and my fiance watched "stir of echos" kick a$$ movie by the way.. we were sitting there and he saw a shadow .. that looked like a girl.. who knows what they are.. if they are from the past or the future.. as long as they leave me alone.. im good.. even though I do see ghosts with features *shudders* I dont know why they want to show theirselves to me..

I see those too..I voted other because anything's possible- including a trick of the eyes. I don't believe that's all they are because some of them don't come with any vibes(that I can feel anyway) but others make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

I've seen them. They're spirits, I do believe. Lost, trapped, perfectly concious of where they are.

has anyone seen the movie "the eye"?
It's a chinese movie, with much fact base about a girl who was blind since birth, and had an operation to replace her eyes. Since the donator was able to see these things, now she is as well. The movie itself is more for shock value, but the idea behind it is very much rooted in Chinese culture, acording to a good friend of mine.

Now, I havent exactly researched this, I was just told this by word-of-mouth, so my facts could be a little scrambled.

One of his family members is a "See-er" very much like a medium, or what not. He's able to see these things, speak with them, and banish/invoke them. He says there are ghosts, and then there are these 'shadow entities' that dont have enough power to conjure an image. So, they lurk as shadows and only along walls. They're the ones who died so horrifically that they cannot move on. He says that sometimes theres a spirit who so trapped here, and so 'evil' that it must be banished, and that basic christianity tools (crosses, and exorcism) wont work.

I cant remember my point anymore. It seems I need to research a little first. Oh well.

sometimes i see something that seems to be a "shadow" moving quickly by in my pereferal (sp?) vision. I also lately have been seeing numbers. I know that sounds weird. And hopefully it's not my vision going :)

That person Lady Trinity was talking about was me. I told her about that 2 or 3 years ago, the guy in the bathtub. I think it was the ghost of a husband and wife that were in my place, the man I saw in the tub several times, and I often heard some one in the kitchen and smelt food cooking when I was the only one home.

Now they seem to have gone, right around the same time somthing else showed up... Now i would not call it a shawdow, I just call it the darkness, and it has no form, just adarkened blur in my field of vision and some times not even that. Some times I just sence it. and the energies that it emits don't seem to be ether negative or positive, just nutral, if there is sutch a thing.

I sence ghosts and spirites all the time, but when this is around it's almost like all the others run away, with the exception of what I think is the ghost of a young girl, who is a whole story in itself as to how I know about her, but she seems to have some atatchment to me, almost like I was an older brother or somthing. I have felt her presance there before and the darkness showed up, and I could feel my arm like some one was holding onto it tightly, and I think it was the little girl, she was afraid of it but did not run she just clinged to me.

I've never felt scared of it, in fact some times it's presance gives me a stance feeling of comfort. I've also had it come to me in dreams, as a black fog, but almost like a liquid and in my dream it would take shapes but it would just mimic other people and things. I have no idea what this thing is but it's been around for about almost 2 years now, and it comes and goes. Some times I think I can comunicate with it too, at least it seems to understand me and what I'm feeling and what I want. I've experamented with calling it and asking it to leave too, and it seems to be respectfull of what I want. it's realy weird. I know others have felt it's presance too, usaly it makes them feel uncomforatable, but I wonder if thats just because they don't know what it is or what they are feeling.
