I am having a lot of e-mail with a virsus attached

I was sent 3 personal e-mails with subjects related to threads. These are not the notifications we receive from MysticWicks, but personal e-mails.

One of my e-mails had a subject of "I need spiritual help". My system is VERY good and Stopped the virus. However, my system could not de-bug/clean the virus.

Just thought I would let people know to watch out.

The e-mail addresses did not appear to be on any of the Mysticwicks profiles that I scanned.

I am a little concerned.

Oh - Also, these are not personal e-mails through the MysticWicks system.

These came from OUTSIDE the MysticWicks system.

What you may also want to do is use webmail. This means services like Hotmail, or Yahoo!, or even certain email servers will let you check your email through your browser instead of downloading it. In this way the email isn't even downloaded to your machine at all. It's possible now for people to give you a virus without even having to open the attachment, so do be careful.

I like to use Hotmail, beacuse they use McAfee, and I have Norton on my computer. That way I get two programs looking at everything. Plus, Hotmail is set up so that you cannot open any file with a detected virus.
