Does anyone know of a website that tells you about your personality through your ascendant/sun combination? FYI, mine is Scorpio/Aries...so what does that say about me? Thanks!

mhrtwll, it is not personally known of an Astrolgocial site that presents these two factors only in combination. But perhaps the following can tell you something, so that you and others, who have similiar questions, can determine the information for themselves. Of course, Sun sign personalities are easily found almost anywhere, where as their natal Ascendant is not often known by Astrologically-minded folks, and therefore such is not popular by delineation. Strictly speaking Sidereally, the Natal Ascendant indicates the physical demeanor, the way one approaches life, one's inherent "body language" -if you please. It also denotes something about one's physical appearance, of which can be MODIFIED by an occupying planet or luminary. For this reason natal Ascendants are usually avoided by Astrologers, unless, of course, someone calculates a personal nativity. Something can be gleaned from Sun sign analysis, however, and applied to an Ascendant by following this simple rule: whatever is the main theme of a Sun sign, apply that to one's Acendant without implying consciousness of those traits, unless the natal Moon alone is also in quartile aspect to the natal Ascendant. For example, if a person has Sagittarius for an Ascending sign, we will find that they are usually active folk, desiring much room to live and work in, which would requre a physical body to match that theme. Generally, they are moderate to tall and youthful in appearance, loving sports, games, the great outdoors, and the like. They are prone to travel much and enjoy having an overall panoramic approach to life. They do not like being penned up, either at work or at home, but prefer some living room to grow and play in. Also take note of the ruler of the Ascending sign, (which, in this example case is Jupiter) where it is in the natal chart and in which house it occupies, and any significant aspects to it. So, perhaps from this example, and all the variables associated with it, you can see why Ascending sign delineations are usually avoided by many (public) Astrological writers.

I find that I act mostly like a combination of an aries, scorpio and a pisces... but my ideas are like that of an aries. Thanks for your help!

Mhrtwll, it is interesting that you mention Pisces in your very perceptive self delineation. According to the Sidereal Zodiac your birth sun is about 28 deg. Pisces, the Moon is in late Aquarius with Mercury at 3 deg Pisces! Not knowing your time nor place of birth it is highly speculative to say what your Ascending sign is, However, you have Urauns at 0 deg. Scorpio (Sidereal Zodiac) which often indicates one interested in and capable of knowing Astrology. Therefore, you could have late Libra or early Scorpio Ascending.

My planet in my first house is in fact Uranus, and yes, I am very interested in astrology. =)
I was born in San Diego, and according to a website, which I filled in my birthplace and birth time, I have a Scorpio rising. But I looked at a book at this bookstore, and it said that I have a Libra rising, but it didnt take into account the birthplace.
