i was just wondering why there are so many different religions in the world? is there one true religion? i'm not gonna give up being a wiccan but i was just thinkin.......anyway, i would like ur opinions on this question.

well, acording to "The Mists of Avalon", all Gods are one God and All Goddesses on Goddess, so i guess that means that we are all worshiping the same deity, no matter how we deny it, embrace it, or wonder about it. JK, abou the Mists ref, but i think its true, not finished it yet tho (the book). so, there is no one true religion, but many that all goto the same place, have the same ending, and have the same truths. If you beileve when you die you'll goto Heaven, well, then, Heaven you'll be in. If you bevieve to the Summer Lands, there you are. If you are on your journey to Valhalla(sp), there you shall arive.

I reject ALL patriarchal religions as ludicrous and detrimental.

I follow different Pagan traditions, from First Nations Peoples,
African, Australian(Aborigine), from the Near/Middle East, Asia,
etc.

I have also on occasion thought that the Christian God might just be a powerful Ancestor ... because it seems you havt to wake God up to get him to listen to you to me, and to punish those that break his commandments. How much better then me is a Christian that commits adultry, theft, and is riddled with jealousy. No offence intended to anyone here.
