can u exlain divination?

i dont get how tarot cards or runes or crystal balls acually work. does it all together and it just seems right or what?

Personally, there is alot of indecision in it for me. I'm always afraid my interpretations are off-base. With time though, your confidence builds. :D


What happens with Tarot cards is that you view the pictures on the cards....and bits and pieces of that picture may stand out to you in some way....you are drawn to something in the picture. That is what you should focus on, what that item symbolizes to you. :D From there you use your intuition, and combine all the things from the multiple cards that you were drawn to, to create the "story" or what it is the cards are trying to draw your attention to. It's just a tool to draw out your intution, to bring what is in the subconscious forward for your conscious mind to view. That's the gist of it anyways. :D

As far as Runes and Crystal balls go, I would suggest you post this question in the Divination Forum as well. I'm sure Silver Venus would be more than happy to tell you about these two divination tools and how to draw insights from them! :D < I haven't had much luck with my runes, and I don't have a crystal ball yet.>

I agree with Dagda, and believe all three of these tools to be tools of insights that you use to tap or awaken your intution. Tarot are like runes, except runes do not have pictures to read, just symbols... you read the runes from remembering which sigil (symbol) stands for what aswell as feeling energies from the stones and using your own intution ~ if any feelings or visions come into your head this will be something to do with the reading.
I believe that the runes and the Tarot open me to my spirit guide and I work with her, I cant really explian how this happens ~ just maybe the act of getting out my cards/runes automatically puts me in that mode and intution flows.

Crystal Balls ~ Im no expert on all the actual 'how it happens' background. But bascially again you yourself open yourself up and see the images and make the images appear.. some believe its there spririt guide/goddess as I do showing them images.. Ive seen colours and images in two different balls ~ one mine and one my friends ~ all of the experiences were very powerful but none were for the future as such.. so I think like tarot again you have to ask and be sure of what you want to see.
