Guess what?

My phiance and I got a rat tonight. She's the cutest little thing. She's white and cream and named Amber. Tommorow morning we're going to go and get a second rat. The second rat is the same exact size, but is brown and white. When we came home with Amber tonight we felt bad because she was all alone in her cage, although since we've had her home she's spent no more than a half hour in the cage. I can't wait to get the second rat tommorow, :). Amber is already trained to hang out on my shoulder, :).

I Hope the two rats are the same Gender or you may have alot of company on your shoulder, lol ;) They are really smart animals I have 2 Hamsters ( Zues and Georgie) Both Males. Actually We have a zoo , 2cats ,a dog, a rabbit, Fish , Beta Fish ,bird, and last but could do without my husbands black widow spider. We usually have snake too but none at this time. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, lol :D

good for you! my neighbor had a rat once. He ran over it with the lawn mower. I wonder if rats have a God or Goddess?

I used to have pet mice...but no rats here...sorry:D:eek:

Now rats as house pets I like...same with little white mice for pets...some of the junkhouse sewer rats we get around here though.... :eek:
