Systems , is that sometimes you can come to something fresh :>....
Methane I have Aquarius ASC at 0 degrees, and a first and seventh house interception with Pisces and Virgo? What do you think about intercepted houses .....???

Swannie, I never regard them, mostly becuase I use a 16 house division system (which divides the mundane zodiac into smaller sections averaging 22 1/2 degrees each), and the demarcations indicate the most intensive areas for the meaning of each house. Those planets on the fringes of the houses are weak in themselves to affect the meaning of the house, or when they strongly aspect another planet that does occupy a strong position within another house then I will consider mostly the aspected planet and not so much which house it occupies. I havn't given any thought to intercepted houses for over 30 years. This is mostly because the only places I use the 16-house system in on very detailed natals and Secondary progressions, otherwise, the significant personal predictive form of Astrolgy, the Progressed Sidereal Solar Return, does not need house delineations. Also, whenever the natal MC/IC axis is more than 45 to 50 degrees from square to the Natal Ascendant, I will use the upper and lower Nonagesimals for the MC/IC placements. The nonagesimals are those Zodiacal points that are squared the natal Acendant. This solves the problems in determining the MC/IC points with those folks who are born in the latitudes, far north or south, approaching the Arctic and Antarctic circles (60 deg. north or south, for examples) as well as intercepted houses that are so common in those latitudes. Through research with famous personalities, and especially those born in Scandinavia, it has been shown that when planets transit these Nonagesimal points they have the same effect as those transiting a more standard MC/IC axis for other folks, those born in the temperate or equatorial zones.
