...Penguin is very very good to me...they've done better by me than any of the small publishers I was/am with.
For those of you who've been reading my work (or those who just want to see a pretty picture), check out the cover of my newest book that's due out in January--they've done a wonderful job on it (and my scanner doesn't get all the nuances of the blues, so you can't see the diversity of them, but it's still gorgeous). I am so lucky, they've done such a good job on all my covers!

I just finished the galleys/page-proofs on it, btw, and am about to start book four, which I'm calling A Harvest of Bones, hence my lack of time spent in the usual forums I go to, including MW, but I'll be around off and on.

I really like it..congratulations. As soon as I'm finished with the books I've started I'm going to read one of your fiction books. It's been a long time since I've read just for the pleasure of reading a good story.

Oh .. beautiful!
I kept trying to place your name ... until I realized. Embracing the Moon! I've not yet had the pleasure to read it, but it's on my list. Still have to get through Wicked though.

There's a bookstore in Australia that carries my NF, they might order my fiction too if you ask: http://www.mindbodyspirit.com.au/auth/g/galenorm.htm (at one tiem they were spelling my last name wrong, so be aware...). I know that my books are available around the world--I've gotten letters from people from pretty much every continent (except Antartica *grins*) about my work...so I'm not sure how they're getting hold of it.
I just sent an email to my publicist at Penguin to see what she says. She may be able to give me a heads up on stores over there.

Looks that way, I guess! (I never made it to bright new star in the metaphysical world, I think I was a bit too outspoken for some folks ~grins~ but my 'sass' apparently works in the mystery field. Woohoo!).
Hey, I love those quotes...they're fun...but more than that, I love the work. And it *is* work...I just sent off the manuscript for Murder's Only Skin Deep (the first in the India Ink series) last Tuesday, the galleys/page-proofs for MUAMM yesterday, and I'm starting book four of the Chintz 'n China series tomorrow. But you know, I wouldn't be happy just sitting around...I'm a workaholic--I admit it.
Hugs chickie,

~smiles~ Yeah, I switched over to my first love a couple years ago, though my final NF book just came out this year (Totem Magic). I started out intending to be a novelist, finally earned my break into fiction, and am quite happy there now.
ETM...a lot of folks like it--I basically wrote the book I wished I'd had when I was starting into the Craft.

And I can't wait to start in on the next one--calling it A Harvest of Bones. Which reminds me, I have work to do today to get ready for tomorrow--Samwise starts his new contract then, and I start the new book, and today we need to clean house and whatnot, and I need to organize a few notes and answer email and answer people in my own forums on my site.
Huggles! (And Murder Under A Mystic Moon is a fun, good book--a number of surprises with the characters for you!).

Reading is so good for most people (I'm leaving out the exceptions who will surely pop up and scream "NOT ME" if I don't qualify my statement ~grins~).
It opens up so many new vistas and ideas and entertains, teaches, comforts, makes people think....
LOL, I love reading too. Most writers do, but we usually don't get enough time in which to read...sigh.

Wow! I think cover art should be considered a true art form... and this cover should be in the gallery. Its fantastic! As a person who tends to judge a book by its cover (hehe), I would definetly pick this out of the crowd.

Actually....*grins*...no, not an eagle claw. A claw of a legendary beastie in the mountains (my imagination but very believable given this area). Yeah, it is a good cover--all three have been gorgeous.

LOL...technically, you don't have to--I had one reader start on Legend of the Jade Dragon, and she said she had no problem reading it first, but you will get a better grounding of the characters with Ghost of a Chance. Some folks like that better, others liked JD better...I always say the typical author response (very true): I like the one I'm working on now the best. ~grins~

I might ask my local "Border's"if they can order them in....they're Penguin, it shouldn't be too hard for them to get hold of....
And I'll have a look at that link...thanks :)

My editor said that they have worldwide rights, so you should be able to order it in Australia...if you have Borders, they should be able to get it.
