one of my workings of major effect~
i was being torn with negative emotioal and verbal abuse, taking on the form of curses by someone. i tried reasoning and everything in a praceful way. i ended up at a depleted point of breaking, it was late at night and i was extremely tierd. im asking silently for help.
all of a sudden i thought of the mirror. so i visualised a mirror to reflect away all that was being thrown at me. i felt vertual instant peace. and soon feel asleep. ( i was in a tent and they on the other side.) the next day this person felt really depressed and self negative in an extreme way, and had a couple of minnor accidents.

A very powerful visualisation tool. i will recomend, though with caution. i never intendered to cause harm, i just had to remove the negative energy that was detremental tome. obviously the energy was returned in a form upon the giver of it.

has anyone else had similar experiences with the visualised mirror?

No, though I've heard of something like this before and tried it ( visualizing a mirror ) but it didn't work for me. Maybe because I was distracted at the time. I was working in a face paced environment trying to visualize a mirror up in front of me intending that if any harm was directed at me, it would bounce immidiately back. I left feeling drained or aggravated at the end of the day. I'm glad it works for you though, congrats!

In a similar situation, I've made a poppet of the person in question and put them in a box of mirrors (little tiles bought from an arts and craft shop) so that anything they chose to send to me reflected back on them instead.

I actually once used a mirror instead of visualizing one..
but I asked that the negative energy bounce away and never return..
I did not know who the one causing harm was so I wouldnt know what happened to them after..
but It did work wonders for me.

My protection bottle has bits of mirror in it to reflect back negative/malevolent energy. Works splendidly too! Mirrors are an undervalued magical tool, I think.

Hmmm, I think I might try using a real mirror if visualization doesn't work.

some other interesting methods being used, thats great.
another method is to charge a mirror with protective energy, that u can wear or have around your home. iv never done this one though.
sometimes a physical mirror would be better, pre charged and set, so you know its working without having to put the energy and thought into it at the time of need.(if your aware its needed) you just have to make sure you set the spell exactactly as you want it, what it will do, how, and time span. i call in help from the, or an elemental when charging in this way. for extra strength.
it can be hard in a situation where your concentration is easiely diverted. although in extreme cases, the visualisation mirror can work, as (hopefully) the build up of energy you are feeling automatically goes into the direction you put it.

Putting up mirrors around the home is supposed to be good protection in general. The reflections make it difficult for unwanted energies to find you.

We bought the prettiest wooden plaque with cutouts of stars and a mirror in the shape of the crescent moon. I hung it on the outside wall next to my door. This thread has given me the idea of tying it into the wards shielding my house to reflect away anything negative sent to any of us. Yay.

Mirror boxes are very powerful. They just reflect back to the person whatever they put out, so it's not like you're wishing "ill" to them. I see it as a sort of binding, in a way. You're not preventing the person from doing what they want to do, but you ARE keeping their energy close to them and not allowing it to get loose.

I've used mirror visualizations in shield workings, where I'm reflecting back whatever someone is projecting at me. It's usually fairly effective. :)

I think I might do some more research on mirrors and mirror magick when I get the chance. I am already trying to do so many things right now that my head is spinning, but the mirror as a tool in magick has gotten me very interested now. I didn't know they were so versitile. Thanks for starting this Welkin.
