Huh. I'll still be in Pittsburgh then, otherwise I'd go as the token Buddhist rep. :\

I will be there with bells on, and maybe bringing a few visitors from out of town. We're going to have real vendors this year, wheee! I can spend my money on more than raffle tickets. LOL I spent $25 at last year's and didn't win squat. Hope to see y'all there. :bouncysmi

I'm from town of tonawanda and I'm just wondering how big of a turn out is this I've never heard of such a thing I mean it just might be me but city tonawanda and north tonawanda are pretty much still in the 1950s ? And something like this is bound to turn a few heads . Please tell me as much as you can about this .

Last year was the first Pagan Pride Day event. It was held in the same place, in September around Mabon. We had a pretty good turnout, about 100 people, I believe. We actually didn't get hassled much, we had a couple of bikers around for security if anything got out of hand, but it really didn't. It seems like some people who might have had negative intent turned around in the parking lot after seeing them.
The park itself is fairly small, so it's not a huge event, but attendence will probably be even better than last year, especially since we now have VENDORS! (Last year, vendors could come show their wares but couldn't sell because of permits.)
The event is organized by the Buffalo Pagan community. The price of admission is a non-perishable food item or a bag of clothing, which will be donated to local charities.

[edit] Oh, and if you do go, you can't miss me- I'll be the pregnant lady who's about big as a house and probably wearing some nasty maternity outfit! ;)

Thanks, Haruka2077 for the info. I have not been to it yet myself, so that cleared up som of my questions. I will probably be there with my dad, and I'll make sure to look out for the 'crazy pregnant lady'. ;)

I will most likely be wearing jeans and a bright pink sleeveless top- and, as I mentioned, be big as a house. Feel free to say hi if you see me. I'm pretty friendly as long as I've fed recently. :D

Oh, and it is a rain-or-shine event, for those of you looking outside and wondering. :D
