My crystal ball freaked me out a wee bit.

I don't work with my crystal ball very much, but when I do I usually get either colours or misty swirly things. I descided to work with it last night sometime between midnight and one and asked for the guidance of those before me as I usually do and at first nothing happened then all of a sudden it started sparking inside it with little green sparks and making really weird noises then it stopped. It then formed a blackend almost circular cat's eye then changed to blue sparking and made kind of the noise of your stomach gurgling. It scared me vair very much. So much that I was afraid to get off my bed for a while to put it away and threw up a protective circle to sleep in that night.

Geez, I wonder what would happened if you tried scrying. I've never used a crystal ball so I just think your experience was ---well--cool. It sounds like you were charging it. It certainly took on some energy. Did you happen to feel very tired or drained (after the initial shock wore off) afterwords? That happens to me sometimes when I try to raise energy, especially within myself.

Actually I was awake for a couple hours after (though I suffer from mild insomnia due to depression). I actually felt the total opposite-totally energized. Though I think it was because I just got so scared that my senses went on high alert.
