Pulled out another book, __Herbal Treasures__ by Phyllis V. Shaudys. She goes through the year month by month, with projects using herbs for each month. July, for instance, has herbed vinegars. February has Everlastings for Romantic Crafts (!), April has projects for children, and so on. The directions are pretty clear and she even has a section in March about gardening with suggestions for planting.
