Can someone teach a class on Eclecticism or something and if it was already taught and not deleted, then can someone lead me to it? Thanks. :)

Wow..that would be a tough one. Eclectic's pull from so many different paths and ways of life that I'm not sure it would even be possible to do an Eclectic class.
Maybe if you narrowed it down a bit....like Satanimist Eclecticism. You like that word?Satanimist? Yeah...that's me. I made it up all by myself.

Perhaps covering different types of Eclecticisms could be better. :) Maybe some basic ones and a little history of Eclectic and the meaning and everything and voila, a class!

It would be intresting. I think we could make it a huge paticipation class to. We can mix everyone's beliefs up and learn a little something from everyone. I'm not sure if there is a real definate history to Eclecticisms but every thing starts somewhere.
As far as different types that's almost as endless as Eclecticim itself.

Not to put a dampner on this idea. But I don't think this sort of thing would work. I attempted to teach A Wiccan class only, but being Eclectic myself it didn't work, which lead me to change the name, and teach it in a broader sense. It would be interesting if it could be done, but I don't know.

imho, I think this would be better suited to perhaps just a discussion .. which I haven't looked, but I believe tehre are probably many already hereabouts.
However ... if one wanted say an 'overview of religions' course, that might be able to be done. Something that encompassed the more well known religions .. including Christian .. as well as lesser known ones.

Hmmm.... I thought of the idea... but slow dial-up gave me a chance to think about it. Perhaps the only thing good would be:
a) teach a broad class covering the basics of Eclecticism (i.e. respect the cultures you take from, etc.).
b) teach a class like Aine of the Fae, teach your own type of Eclecticism (she teaches Christian Witchcraft)
c) I forgot this last thought.

What's number three. lol
Maybe we could start a thread where we all teach each other about our own form of eclecticism.

I think that it would be a great idea! Maybe post different threads on a summery on different paths.
Just a thought.
Brightest Blessings,
