So I dreamt I was back home in my parent's house where I grew up. Everything was the same. We have a deck outside the house that's about 10 or 15 feet off the ground (2nd story). It was misty outside...and it never gets misty there. Anyway. There were 5 white wolves running around, and it didn't strike me as out of the ordinary. One in particular seemed to trust me, to know me...and it had a deformed front paw but it could get around just fine. The others ran about and lingered around the outside of the area, waiting for the one that knew me...while the friendly one came up to me and I fed it. The others wouldn't come near me for the food, but this one would. I could feel it knew I was a friend...and it was there to visit me.

I've never had a dream like this before. I hate to think of it as my spiritual guide...because everyone has wolves. Isn't it cliche? What do you think?

i think your spiritual guide can take on many forms, this time he/she chose to be a wolf for whatever reason? ask yourself what wolves mean to you, what images and thoughts go through your mind when you think of them. for example, if i had a dream that a crow came to me while i was at somewhere i used to live, i would interpret it (because to me a crow symbolises death and reincarnation-long story!) as a symbol of ending an old way of life and starting another, of moving on.
see what i mean? i hope this helps! xxxxxxx

I agree with Midnight in that is does sound like an animal spirit guide. Whenever there are dreams like the one you had, it is usually a message. She wolves are very loyal and protective and I have the feeling that the wolf in your dream is female as they are rarely alone. The others in the pack were watching to make sure the wolf wasn't in danger. But the wolf trusted you, you fed it and you noticed that she had a disabled paw.

Are you in a field where you help people, either in a medical way or as a social worker or counselor? I think the dream message is that the wolf knew you have a nurturing spirit which is why she let you know her paw was hurt, and you nurtured her by feeding her as you saw that as more of what she needed than fixing the paw. It could also mean that you are or will be a good mom.

The dream took place in a familiar place, your parents home and probably indicates that you were very comfortable there and have fond memories. You may have had a secure and protective feeling there and that may be why the wolves visited you there, to dispell any fear you may have had.

Thank you both for the thoughts, they've helped a lot and they make a lot of sense to me. I was so glad to see someone had replied. This dream meant a lot to me. You guys are wonderful!

Although you may think that everyone has wolves for Animals spirit guides I do have to point out that there are to many people and a lot of other animals for that statement in your first post to be true. Though I do understand that it is your opioin and respect it I have also had Eagles as well as wovles to be guides for me in the things I've done in life. Wolves are a very loyal type of creatures just like Dogs are. And this could have been a dream of a past life where you could have been a native american and there old beliefs before the chirstians froced there beliefs on the native Americans.
