weird dream

I had this dream last night, I was visting friends. But for some reason I was staying at my ex-husbands house. *raises eyebrow* But he was living with his parents, and it was like 5am and my flight was supposed to leave at 6 am or something, and he was pulling the itenerary off the internet and i'm like we need to go now. And he just nodded. So finally we get into the car, and we are on our way and he hands me these little gifts. Like this one is from my dad, this one is from my mom, this one is from my sister...and I'm like ok, so I dump them in this little bag that I had as part of my luggage. And we get to the airport and he parks outside and I grab my bags which oddly are a regular dufffel bag and a bunch of little paper shopping bags with handles. So we're standing there and I'm like i have to go and he just nods. So I run into the airport and I look up at the monitors to find my gate and they are going too fast, going so fast i can't read them. So I decided to just head to the escalators, cause for some reason I know that it's gate C something so I decided to go to gate C to find the right number. Well I go to the escalators and there are only two at first and they are both going down. So in my dream, I look away then look by and there's a third one that is going up that came out of nowhere cause i didn't see it the first time I looked. I walk up that one. And I start to go down the corridor towards the gate and at the end of the corridor is this huge table with all these people sitting at it a few that I recgonize from where I work, and this lady comes up to me and is like you should stop, you need to stop and eat with us and stay here. And I just shook my head, well Gate C has two wings, so I take a left to the first side, and go to where the individual gates are and my flight isn't there. I look up at the monitors and they are still going so fast I can't see them. So I look down at my ticket and it is now showing my complete gate number though it wasn't before. So I start running from one side of the gate to the other to find my flight. And I get there and the flight was delayed an hour..

This is something of a frustration dream in that you are anxious to get on with your life and quickly and you keep getting delayed because things are going to fast, or at least some others may think you are moving to fast. You may be in a hurry to get on with your life and are not quite sure yet what direction you want to go in. But, since there was suddenly an escalater that was 'suddenly' there and going up means you are heading in the right direction but you may need to slow down a little and catch your breath.

Somtimes when there a lot of changes taking place in a life, it can get confusing. Especially if you are anxious to put the past behind you quickly.

Another thing to consider is how you reacted to the people in your dream. It seems that you didn't care much for the gifts your family gave you. Maybe another part of slowing down is recognizing the gift of love that people give you, or the little things that your family provides you with that you see as everyday stuff.
