Sunday morning

I have my coffee, I have my English muffin with jelly, I have my newspaper, I have a sunny rural backyard. Life can get better than this, but it has to try pretty hard.

Agreed; Sunday morning up early to bake with my child then sitting on the balcony with fresh steaming butter Biscuits with Peach preserves hot coffe talking about what we are going to do this week.. no interuptions for us not even the paper just pure and simple time together that the rest of the world seems not to break into.

Sitting on my couch listening to the sound of lawn mowers in the distance, and being forced to watch George of the Jungle with my daughter.
But I'm getting ready to get up and make lemon poppy muffins :drool:
I'm longing for fall so bad I can taste it. The first cool breeze, the smells of fall. Going to an art festival on a Sunday morning with NO SWEAT!.

MMMMM... Coffee and beautiful sunshine and going to see my nephew and best friend later. I can hear Cliff still snoring in the living room and the cats aren't even fighting today. I'd say this will be a wonderful Sunday (except for the mounds of laundry waiting for me!)

*sigh* not so great of a morning for me..sat out on porch with hubby to be talking.. nothing in particular..drove him to work..put all the windows down on the way back and can feel fall coming..later we have to go to his parents house *ugh* and I have to do some laundry..all in all it should be an "ok" day though

It's already 5:35PM here but I woke up at 9AM so I could go to Sunday Church. :uhhuhuh: It was so much fun!

You guys are lucky. Chad let me sleep until 11, he finished my bagels and there's a craft fair going on outside my window.

Normally sundays are better than this though.

It's raining and chilly here. :damncold:

Is that a bad thing? No! :D All the racket and goings on that usually take place outside my front door are subdued. The city is quiet, for once. It's as if the whole town is taking a time out, and I love that.

*sips tea, pauses and reflects* *tosses some pecans to the black squirrel on her porch*

Sunday mornings my beloved usually brings me breakfast in bed. Doesn't get any better than that. :D

Plus, it's deliciously cool here, with an expected high of only 70. Some of the trees are starting to change, too. And this morning I decided to just lie in bed, between the cool sheets and snuggled under a down comforter, and read a good book. (The Time Traveler's Wife, in case anyone wants to know...and it's excellent!)

Aaaah, Sunday.
