well i said microwave, b/c that is mostly how i make my vegetarian meals. but i love baking desserts in the oven and i like cooking stirfry's on the stove. so i guess it depends on what i'm making. maybe i should have voted other.

Umm .. I just like the experience of cooking. Of creating something with my own hands.

Stove !

I can fry the meat and cook the veggies at the same time,

or sometimes if we are talking fish, I bake it, while the veggies are cooking!

I like cooking actually :)

I said oven, because with autumn closing in it's making me think of baking some bread. MMMMMMMMmmmmmmm

But I use my oven and my stove-top equally.

I'm so happy it's gas- I can't stand electric stoves!

I like to cook in the buff, but you have to be careful with knives when you do that because one slip and you.... oh... that's not the question, is it? :bigredblu

;)

I like all types of cooking! Not much of a microwave person, unless I'm doing a quick thaw or heating up a quick can of soup. Most reheating gets done in the toaster oven, and most cooking is done on the stove. I also like baking. I'm new to this whole cooking thing, but loving every minute of it.

The entire kitchen is my arsenal. I prefer to work indoors as opposed to outdoors. The outside just gets on my nerves, for some reason. I will grill on the stove, bake in the oven, microwave a mix, blend, chop, slice, sprinkle, all at once. I remember two years back, before we got so horribly destitute, an excellent meal I made that I will never forget:

Bourbon-grilled Filet Mignon with grilled portabello mushroom
Red chili pepper soup
Herb and butter roasted mashed potatoes
Cheese and Chive scones

Man, I droll thinking about it. It's a nice to think about, while eating sunflower seeds or Cheezits for dinner. :\

Gourmet kitchen with everything--gas range, oven, grill that uses charcoal or wood, crock pot, .....whatever.....

Well it depends on what I am making. It'd be kind of hard to bake a cake on the grill  Especially since I don't know how to use one. Usually the microwave. I don't have time to mess around in the kitchen, and I hate dishes. Also, by the time I'm halfway done "making" something, I don't want it anymore. On a whim I'll decide to cook something with what I have. I can't follow a recipe worth blip. I prefer to make them up as I go, seeing as I never have all the ingredients required. My apartment has never seen a bag of flour.

I love the stove top and the ovem, but I do use the microwave as well. It is a great short cut for things. For example I cook rice in the microwave, or I will boil the water for something in the microwave before I use it on the stove top. It is quicker and I can get dinner on the table that way. I do not make a ton of typical microwave meals, but I do also use it for left overs.

I use them all. I dont consider it "like" to use the microwave, as that is more of an item of convenience.

Oven, stove top, or grill.

heeheehee ;) You left out my favorite choice which is not at all! If I were meant to cook, I wouldn't live 3 blocks from a Mcdonalds!

I only chose stove top because it is the primary way I cook, but my microwave, my oven and my crockpot don't get neglected either.

We also use our grill quite a bit...

Other. I don't like cooking. I do it because I have to eat or I will die.

I chose "Other" because the poll isn't multiple choice. I will use any or all of the following when cooking:

Stovetop
Oven
Grill
BBQ
Microwave (though when cooking it is usually only used to soften butter or bring eggs to room temerature, etc. in a hurry :) The quick frozen meals don't count as cooking as far as I'm concerned.)
Steamer

I love to cook, but when I cook, I cook. It almost never takes less than 2 hours for me to cook a meal--and 2 hours is quick. My father was a chef before I was born, and I was taught how to cook by him, which means that almost everything is made from scratch.

I like baking. I use to get into things in the kitchen when I was little and just bake cookies and such. When I moved out on my own I didn't have a microwave, so everything went in the oven. I prefer stuff baked as opposed to fried. Plus I can use an oven 10 times better than I can use a stove.
