This might be weird, but I just wanted to know if anyone else had any information.

For about the past two years (that I can recall) I usually always catch the numbers 11:11 on my clock. For a while I was seeing it constantly, as in, twice a day every day, but lately it's been waning a while, and I've taken it to mean that it's a reassurance--a sign that things are going well, that I'm on the right track, etc.

Anyway, since then I've been doing a web search to see what it could mean. And a few months ago I came across this site (http://www2.eu.spiritweb.org/Spirit/activation-11.11-eleven-gates.html) which talks about 11:11 as some sort of ascension or awakening. I bookmarked it and just remembered to browse it.

What I can't figure out is if it's referring to a physical thing (it mentions how only one person can "cross through" the door and make references to physical "openings" that have been taking place around the world.

I'm just a little weirded out, cause I can't tell if this is some cult thing or something. lol

Anyway, I dug a tiny bit further (I'm still searching) and came across this page (http://www.nvisible.com/1111/1111intro.html) which actually mentions about seeing the 11:11 on clocks constantly, and actually mentions it as a reassurance, which I found a REALLY huge coincidence.

Blah. Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone had any info/first impressions/similiar experiences?

Interesting. It's no secret that numbers have a magick all their own, whether due to their vibration or the math involved with them or some other phenomenon.. As we all know, 7 is often thought of as lucky, while 13 is often thought of as unlucky. 1 is believed to correspond to the All, with 3 corresponding to God/Goddess/All, 4 to the physical elements, 5 to the points of a pentacle and all elements, 2 to the balance of everything that exists, and so on.

I hope this number's meaning becomes clearer to you and you'll be able to tell us more.

I also hope I can get some motivation to make a good site that might almost rival your own ;)

Thanks Willow. :) I went through every page I could find, and thankfully, it doesn't seem like a cult-- they mention that it's more a "way of being" than a religion, and that groups of strangers only come together to activate gates once every few years or so...

Beh. I just have this tendency to be hopelessly naive and trusting when it comes to new things that seem to make sense to me. And then a lot of times, I get knocked on my butt, so... lol :D

And thank you warmly for the web compliment. :D

There was a large 11:11 gathering about 8-9 years ago. Opening the gates was supposed to allow the planet to enter a new reality, and bring new healing colors in.

I read about that. :) Were you by any chance a part of it?

We had an 11:11 gathering here where I live.

There's lots of information on Ascension at

www.spiritweb.org

Do a search for ascension, or try typing in 11:11 as well.

Ages ago I came across some meansing for seeing numbers like that on your clock 11:11 22:22 23:23 4:44 etc etc, I must have it somewhere still....have to go look for it...

Looks like you are on the right track. My husband sees 11:11 all the time. Never really thought about it until you mentioned it. The site you posted seems pretty informative. Let us know what you come up with. Now I'm curious.

My digital clock is 20 minutes fast (so I don't oversleep in the morning)... so I achieve Unity/Ascension at 10:51.

Really people. This whole 11:11 deal is just your brain playing tricks on you. It goes all the way back to Sesame street, remember Words of Power the Furry Ones Chanted: "Three of these Things Belong Together, Three of These Things are Kind of the Same. But one of these thigns is different from the other, la la something something which one is it?" And you picked out the 1 different thing, hooray. It's something on that basic level. You're semi-consious, looking around, and something in your brain just clicks and says "oooohhh.. look... saaaameeee.." and everyone thinks it's some kind of spiritual phenomenon and they make cults and drink poison and get ready to climb on board a magic spaceship, but IT'S JUST SESAME STREET PLAYING TRICKS IN YOUR MIND.

Trust me, as an intimate worshipper of mathematics, there do exist powerful numbers, but 11.11 is not one of them. One of my co-workers back at Siemens had a whole chart of them, I think they were called "Unitless constants"... a list of universal constants that had no units assigned to them. Like Pi.

The "Unitless" deal is important, b/c one might assume that some constants, like Avagadro's number 6.02x10^24 is one of the key numbers of the universe when actually it is NOT... since it relates a number of atoms, to a weight in grams, and grams is an arbitrary number some dude in europe made up. The true unitless constants describe relationships between absolutes. Pi, C (speed of light), -e (the charge of the proton and electron).... the ones that do not change. Those are the numbers to remember.

Oh yeah, and don't forget, that ALL numbers can be written an infinte number of ways. 1111 is only pretty in the decimal number system. In Hexadecimal, it's 457. In Binary, it's 100010001. Actually that's kind of neat. But 1111 READ as binary is plain old 15. And pi, which is 3.14562532421421 going on forever etc... well, that can be written as 22/7.

I guess the point is, clock radios do not spiritual enlightenment give.

And it's so nice that you have your own opinion Ill... but if Loopy finds spiritual enlightenment from her clock, then let her. Sometimes it's a big coincidence... sometimes, maybe something more.

Hey Loopy, my mom always sees that too on her clock. Or that number will come up on a receipt or something. She had mentioned it to someone a while back and they told her that those numbers are a good thing. I 'll have to ask her next time I see her what else she was told.

:)

Lilu~ that's where I found the site -- spiritweb.org

Sundays Child~ Haven't come up with anything new, other than it's kind of fun that my birthday is the 11th month, and if you add it to my birth day, (27) 1 + 1 + 2 + 7 = 11. :) I thought it was kinda nifty.

Illuminatus-- kindly reminding you that you don't have ALL the answers to EVERY spiritual path in history, and even if you might not think something is valid, it doesn't give you the right the dismiss it for other people. And mine's not a clock radio; it's just a VCR clock. And I see it on clocks with hands too, so nyah. ;):p

SpikesPet~ thanks. :)

chryssi~ thanks, that would be awesome of you to ask your mom. :)

I used to see them so often that I was certain I was going to die on November 11th last year. Which... I didn't, but I guess it could still happen. :) I don't really think so though.

LOL Ill.. nice little play on my quotes. And, yeah, it might be insane troll logic.. but to alot of people the thought of people doing magick is insane troll logic.. but I've seen it work, I've done it, so I believe in it. I think this is one of those "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" topics.

If Illuminatus cannot say anything intelligent, he should not say
anything at all.

Illuminatus: It is better for you to be silent and be thought of
as a fool; than to speak and remove any doubt at all.:D

42? Aint that the meaning of life?....lol

I have the 11:11 (phenomena)....hasn't happened recently though. But I used to see it, twice a day, day after day....for months. Don't know why I stopped seeing it. (Maybe it's cause we don't have a working clock...and I don't believe in watches.)

It's interesting....really interesting, to see someone else getting that...it really used to tripp me out.
