View Full Version : How Much Patience Does One Witch Need?

Ok, this may sound kinda silly, especially to those who have gone longer, but now that my divorce is in full swing (after a year of seperation), I find myself sooo ready to move on. Well, that means that I'd like to have someone in my life again. Someone I can start to build trust with, not necessarily anything with a commitment, but you know, someone to do the fun stuff with... Hiking, going to the movies, that kinda thing.

as you can see by my location,
<----- I am smack on the buckle of the bible belt, and have some difficulty finding someone with compatible beliefs. Does anyone have any ideas?

lots ;)

really, i dunno. i've been single for 3 and a bit years (ack, i'm starting to lose track, that's a sign it's been a while)... and despite there being folk around who's religious/spiritual beliefs are similar to mine... i'm still single ;)

most days this condition works well for me, but not always. i'm getting a little tired of being single, but not tired enough of it to 'settle' for just anyone :)

(((hug))) sorry i have no good advice! just a few ((hugs))

I feel your pain...its extremely hard to find someone with similar beliefs in this state. I settled with a rebelling christian....eventually, I'll try to get him into paganism.

Move? But I take it that's not an option...

That's my idea too... :broomride Been thinking about it for years! I think it'll finally happen soon.

Actually, just as long as they don't freak out. I have a hard enough time just finding someone who is able to accept my differences..... I am more like the first group, anyway. I try to observe the sabbats and esbats, but my work often makes it all but impossible to do so.

Perhaps, but not immediately. I've been with this company for 3 years now and invested a lot of pain and heartache. Plus, not everything with my divorce is final yet... til that's said and done, I don't want to move.

I'm about 50/50 right now... some days, I am happy I don't wake up with anyone else and some days I wish I had someone to cuddle with or fix breakfast or something....

I'm not necessarily looking to "settle" in with anyone, at least not just yet, although I could honestly go either way.

But hey, I'll take what I can get. Thanks for the hugs. Those are needed, too.
