What are people's different methods for sending energy/prayers to those in need?

Lighting candles and uttering a few words is my own system. For example, last night I read a number of articles about the two Starke County girls who commited suicide on Saturday, and I lit a West candle, and East candle on my altar for about an hour or so. Seeing the blue candle burn more brightly over that hour, I blew it out first, and let the yellow candle burn a little while longer before going to sleep.

I can't help but do similar things everytime I read about young 'children'' getting killed, either in Iraq, Israel, Afghanastan, Palestine, Sudan, Russia, or anywhere else. It just touches me so emotionally... I feel I have to do something. :sadman:

I pray. Sometimes spontaneous prayer, othertimes I pray the rosary.

Usually .. I open myself to Reiki, focus on who I want to receive the energy and "project" my energy/ Reiki energy.
