Pretty, but I doubt it would like me very much. I always find my way back to my $8.95 Spiral Tarot deck....

The empress card is awesome! I wish I could do something with tarot other than just collect the cards. Luckily I only have 3 decks. LOL These are beautiful though.

Thank you all for your comments
If you care to revisit my web site www.ciromarchetti.com you will find a number of additional cards, a short movie trailer from the project, and screens from the companion CD.
Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Gorgeous deck. Very breath-taking. Unfortunately I won't be buying it since it will not work for me with its swords/air wands/fire association. Such a sad, sad tale it is.

That is unfortunate indeed. With this project I have attempted to appeal to many of the varying preferences of the tarot community, including modifying the size of the cards, including both fully and lesser illustrated minors as options on the companion CD, ete etc. But I also realized from very early on that producing a tarot deck that would satisfy everyone is impossible, as your response confirms. Hopefully you can still gain something positive from viewing the images on line at least, even if you don't actually wish to obtain the deck itself.

I wonder if anyone has ever done a comparison and figured out how many decks associate swords with fire and wands with air vs. those that are air/swords, fire/wands. I'll bet more decks fall into the latter category by a large margin. It's true, though, Ciro; you can't satisfy everyone, so you have to follow your own heart and style. I, for one, have the Tarot of Dreams on my "must have" list. :)

It's not as unfortunate as it sounds. I want to see more images. If I keep on having my breath taken away and the deck is one that simply vibrates throughout me I will find some way to make it work. That or I'll wait till the price goes down a bit and make a fantastic collage outta it the cards. ;)
If the c.d. was sold by itself, I'd probably buy that on the spot just for the information alone, but then again I usually pop up as the Knight/Page of Wands/Swords and am very much an information junky. Gotta have my fix.
(Now I have images of me in the year 2020 banging on a vending machine that sells books and one gets stuck with me screaming "Don't hold out on me man...!" :fpatricks )

I believe there are roughly ten decks that use the wands/air swords/fire association. I looked into it recently when I was trying to figure out what new deck, if any, I am going to require if I wind up staying on the A+ honor roll the whole way through of Amethyst Rose's tarot class.

I trust this does'nt come across as an attept at a hard sell because one extra sale is neither here nor there, but if you are interested enough in seeing more images then use the following link which I usually reserve for all those who have asked to be on my mailing list. There you will find a number of additional cards to those shown on my main site.
http://homepage.mac.com/cirom/PhotoAlbum20.html
you will require a password which I change regularly but for now its dreams
Regarding the Swords/Wand/ Air/Fire issue, I must admit I buy the arguments of both camps. But from the perspective of producing a deck for the general community one also has to be pragmatic and satisfy, if not all, then at least the majority.

I've seen 'em. I actually am on the mailing list. :D
I wouldn't worry about it, you need to appeal to the largest amount of people with anything you sell and that is only increased should the item be something intended to be functional, so I never take it personally or poorly if a deck happens to use associations that I disagree with.
Although, I find that no matter which are used there are some cards that seem to not quite fit. Nine of Swords for example, usually associated with worry and anxiety I tend to view as very air oriented, too much analysis causing you grief (though in my own deck I see something else than this and a great deal more). No matter what elemental to tool association it uses there are always going to be some cards that I would prefer to switch to another suit. Of course, if I had any artistic talent I would just create my own and solve all those problems, but I don't so I'm going to have to keep depending on artistic people such as yourself. Isn't that good news... for you? ;)

Thanks for that post, Ciro. I'm more excited about the deck than ever after seeing some of those images. I did notice something about one of the cards, though, and maybe you've already addressed it, but...the Roman numeral on your 8 of Swords (at least in this image) is actually a 13. It should be VIII, not XIII. :)

OOOPS!!!!
I can spend a hours drawing the hair on one of the characters. You'd think I'd get the number of the card right. Duhhhh.....Can't see the wood for the trees.
Actually I was aware of it, and its been fixed, just haven't got round to updating the web site.
But thanks for letting me know anyway.
