Today I had to wait to get a computer at the library. So I decided to read while I wait. I picked up How History is Invented The Salem Witch Trials. The book states that Witchcraft dates back before the written word. It also talks about the changes the craft has gone through. From what I get out of this book all the hatred of witches is just a big misunderstanding blown up. There are people on both sides of this issue that thinks the other side is evil. But that's not the case. It's only misinformation passed through the ages. May be one day we all can say I sorry and forget about it. This was just something that came to mind I wanted to share.

It is true that those killed during the Salem trials were killed for reasons other then real witchcraft. It was out of misunderstanding, fear and just plain someone of power not liking someone else. If someone were to apologize now it would not change the past. Just accept our religion as valid, you don't have to believe it or apologize for what was done in the past. And personally I would never want to forget it.

they were killed because a bunch of nine year old girls testified against them.
