Hi all! Simple one-card (ok maybe 2 ^^; ) readings before I go to bed, because I feel in the mood.
RantnRaven - Gems! This is the first card I drew. It feels good. Gems usually represents valuables of some kind, usually aquiring them. Did you maybe just get a new job or pay raise? Or have good luck at a small lottery? Perhaps you loaned a friend some money and they're paying you back? or maybe you found something you thought you'd lost forever. I drew a clarifier. A-Maze-Ing. A challenge. It may take a bit of work to get the gems. Ingenuity, or just old-fashioned common sense. Doesn't strike me as anything quest-like, though. hehe
Illyandra- Paradise! nice one. This usually represents a period of calm, a time to centre and recover, or just relax. Nothing negative attached to it. . . just a nice balmy weather type period. Relax, take in life. Enjoy. Every day is special in it's own way, try to slow down enough to see it. It's worth it.
(I have just done one for Shy Hawk in a different thread, so I'm doing the moderators!)
Dagda Moon~Lily - A Maze-Ing . . .this card likes to show up in decks, just like in life. Challenges about, hectic days, rushing around. . . Do you have children? Are you rushing to get them into the school rutine? trying to find a new way to do things? or just generally busy and complex lately? Paradise card - slow down. Take in the sites, smell the roses. Like I said to Illyandra, try to realx and see everyday for all it is. Make time slow for you. Even if it's just the five minutes before bed with your favourite cup of tea. . . savour that peppermint! (or chamamile or any other hehe)
Silver Venus - Tree. This is a time to gain wisdom and understanding. Have you just begun to realize things that until now you weren't even aware of? Are you feeling especially open to new ideas lately? Do you have a friend or mentor who's showing you something new? Or are you just settling down with a good book, relaxing, and taking in the pearls of wisdom within. Cats - it's time to be playful too. Smile, joke, laugh. Don't be all alone right now, I think time with friends would be a good idea. Share what you've learned, but don't forget to have those laugh-until-you-can't-breathe episodes. This feels like a nice, calm time. Smiles abound :)
Semele - hmm. . . this is interesting. I've never had one of my cards turn itself upside down before. At any rate. . . Upside-down Cats. This isn't the best time to play jokes or try to be silly. Somebody is feeling serious and too much joking is bound to hurt a few egos, if not feelings as well. Clarifier - o.o;; another upside-downer? ok. . .Upside-down Gems. . . normal gems is bringing something in, gaining something. . . upside down seems to show things being taken away rather than aquired. Maybe money is tight right now, and tensions are high. That could be why others aren't exactly in a joking mood. one more card - upside-down tears. . . what is it with the upside downs?! anyways. . . I'm not sure how to inturprit this one. You might logically think "getting rid of tears" which maybe applies. . . but I feel more like it's causing tears to others. . . Sheesh! I'm sorry, Semele! this is such a depressing one, lemmie try one more card and see.
AUUUGG another upside-down?! did I flip my deck by accident or something? Upside-down paradise: Things are ok, not really problems, but very fast-paced and hectic. This feels a little bit further into the future.
hmm you know Semele I could just be out of whack right now, I'm kinda getting hungry ^^;; I'll try again tommorrow and see what the cards say, how 'bout that?
