Personality: He was so witty, and funny- the whole room would be rolling around clutching their bellies with laughter. I loved the way he listened to me when we talked, and we both loved music..loud. He loved and respected nature, and all that was in it.

Physically: I loved the way his gorgeous blue eyes sparkled when he was happy, his "unselfconscious" smile, his height (6ft)..

There's more; I was just reflecting because our 11th year is coming up soon.

So, how about your attraction?

Well, he's not exactly my spouse....but he is my boyfriend....and, we've been together a long time. Iwas first attracted to him, because he was the smartest person i'd ever met. We had a ton of things in common,it was like we were the same person. He's so funny too, he can make me laugh until i cry..several times a day. He's so sweet, and handsome too :heartthro

For me it would be his sense of humour, flirty personality, long gorgoeus hair and that he just looked so sexy in black :D not to mention that he treated my daughter really well.

That's easy...his laugh. :)

When we first met, I thought he was obnoxious. He sold the computer system to the trade school for which I was admissions and marketing director. (I should have thought of him as a savior, because I'd been doing everything on a stupid, cheap Brother word processor with no graphics capabilities.) But, he was a salesman, and acting obnoxious was his job. ;)

He ended up coming to my office a LOT, because there was always something going wrong with our computer network, and because we were all clueless idiots, ...and I suddenly and inexplicably found myself attracted to him. It was his hearty laugh, and his confident strut, and the way he flirted insanely with me. And then I started to see the man behind the salesman. In my eyes he went from obnoxious to gotta-have-him. :uhhuhuh:

Geeze, why do I always have to post the really LONG answers. hehe

I dunno if this would apply to me because my SO isnt my spouse....yet :D

But I dont really know what first attracted me to her. When I first met it never crossed my mind that we would end up dating, not once. But then we hung out one day when I was feeling really down and we kinda...started liking eachother then and then it just kinda took off from there. Id say a big part of what I like about her is that shes tough, I dont have to worry about someone hurting her because I KNOW shes not affraid to hurt them back.

Well... the first thing would be the way he looks. I mean, it is what made me accept his invitations. Then I found out about the him, inside him and well *swoon*. I was very happy with the entire package. :)

Congrats! We're coming up on our 12th anniversary of getting together next month, and 12th wedding anniversary next May.

What attracted me to him: He had ambition--he wasn't content with a job, he wanted a career. And he was smart. Physically, he fit my 'type' that I go for....dark hair and eyes, swarthy, muscled, a little shorter.

I've asked him what attracted him to me and his answer was (and these are his words, I didn't change them): I carried myself with a 'regal presence', and I was 'hot' and 'brilliant'....so there ya go.

Is it bad that I dont' really remember? Part of it probably had to do with his sense of humor....physically it was his height and the way he danced. We met through a group of friends and the first time he caught my eye (even though we had met earlier) was at a dance club.
Now, it's that he can make me laugh even when I'm depressed and crying.

I asked my husband what first attracted him to me, and he said "you were a girl and you weren't annoying." What a romantic....sigh.... :)

It's kind of funny how my husband and I met, I worked at Sears, in the jewelry dept, and he had an attraction to me from afar. He used to come in and have me wait on him, but I never really noticed the attraction. He ended up getting a job there as the Security Manager, and we had to work side by side, since my area was high security. We started using the Store's Intranet, messaging each other back and forth and flirting. lol
I went on vacation and before I left, I took the initiative, and kissed him, right in the stock room!
And we have been together ever since. Going on 5 years now. I guess you could say, I married my stalker. I love his smile, his laugh, the way he makes me laugh and of course I think he is the sexiest thing I have ever seen!!!!

He also has gorgeous blue eyes...with just a hint of gold in them...he's also got more tats and piercings. then anyone I ever met! And, he loves Harleys! Now, THAT'S important! :hearteyes :boing:

**Smiles** The fact that, from the very first time we spoke on the phone, we felt so comfortable talking... or even not talking. And her beautiful smile that just lit up the whole room, even if it was only a picture of her.

Bloody men.

My boyfriend said "big jugs" and laughed uproariously...

You should be warned, this is my favourite subject so [ramble mode on]

It was definately a personality thing at first. It would have to be, given how we met (this has already been discussed today  ) I was impressed by his eloquence, intelligence and sense of humour...by his sense of right and wrong, the interest he showed in other people...his kindness and goodheartedness (did I just make up a word?! Lol)

Then when we began to phone each other, I was even MORE impressed...he was all this, and more. We talked some nights for 8 hours at a stretch! The accent didn't hurt either. (He's not *terribly* Belfast...he lived in a rural area of Northern Ireland when he was a kid so his accent is softer than the typical Belfast accent, which sounds as though the speaker has a mouthful of rocks!) Although we did have communications difficulties...well you try understanding a dialect you've never heard before! I would ask questions like "What does 'craic' mean?" (This is actually a fairly difficult question to answer. I understand that now having heard it used by many people in many contexts...)

Last but not least the physical aspects...big, expressive green eyes with long eyelashes...long hair  sensual lips, strong arms...um, I think the rest is gonna have to be left to the imagination or else Mol will throw stones at me (metaphorically speaking)

I also always liked the way he is so gentle with animals. And they love him! Every animal in a 5-mile radius converges on him the second he goes outside. Especially cats, and he loves cats :)

Ah, the post is fiendishly long! A medal for anyone who got this far and didn't fall asleep yet

I didn't know what my SO looked like until after about a year and a half of knowing him :D Of course at that time he wasn't my SO.

I guess what attracted me to him was that he made me feel special and he liked a lot of the things I did ... and still do. :)

i met my significant other online... when i fell in love with him i had no idea what he looked like.

i liked his personality. he was always so kind to me, especially when i was sick or depressed or something, and it was quite a shock that someone would be capable of caring about me.

Heh, I was set up!! My bestmate was trying to set me up with any good man he knew.

I met my SO online and his dry wit and personality is what got me, a few weeks later I met him in person for the first time and thought "Oh no, not him, please not him" He was off his tree, slumped on the couch and watching the weather woman on foxtel. I was on my way to work so here's me looking down right sexy, and there he is lying on the couch drooling at the telly LOL.

The next week, he came over to my place and we spent 13 hours talking and mucking around on the net, I was a big newbie and he knew a thing or two, I told him he could crash next to me in bed as long as there was no funny business and he behaved himself.
aaaahh memories :)

The first thing that attracted me to my spouse would have to be that everytime that I would be close to him he made me feel warm and comfortable and loved even before we started dating I felt that way. oh I love him so much!
