Poeple have posted thread asking where were you on this day ... well when I turned on my TV .. I was in shock like many others I can imagine ... I was sitting on my sofa crying with pen to paper writing ... and this is the result ... not to mention a CD that helped beneift the Red Cross to help victims as many of my poems were turned into songs ..... *** WARNING TEAR JERKERS ***
"A Day To Remember ~ Sept 11 / 2001"
A time of unrest was seen today
Hatred has taken many lives away
No matter if God, Buddha
or the goddess was their faith
So many lives have forever been changed
Many hearts being in an outraged pace
Friends and family torn apart
Just because someone
had so much hate in their heart
Our hearts light candles
to guide those lost souls safe in hand
Even though this senseless act
is something no one
will ever really understand
My Soulful tears go out to everyone in need
Just because hatred made so many bleed
I pray that the Goddess will forever bless
everyone touched by this day of unrest

"20 Minutes Of Love To Last"
Jeremy Glick got on a plane destined for flight
Not knowing this would be his last fight
Men wanting to destroy the plane
were among those on board
From phone calls everyone was ordered to make
emotions poured
From one guy to the next
Jeremy came up with a plan not to complex
This man of bravery
so strong and true
asking his wife "what should I do"
His wife on the other end of the line
said " honey you need to go for it this time "
20 minutes on the phone with his wife
to give her enough love to last her whole life

"Saviors Of Flight 93"
A man called his wife on the phone today
He told her that men were trying to take the plane away
He told her that he loved her
and to never forget
but that he had to do something
or spend forever in regret
A young man called his mother from the air
He said he last goodbye and told her to take care
He explained with a heavy heart
that there was a plan to take back the plane
and he was to take part
As the line went dead
His Mother was left weeping on the other end
Their hearts guided them along
with a few other souls on board
Given strength to fight back
this evil while the plane still soared
His wife wept with tears as his daddy took the phone
but his son's voice was gone
He listened for sounds on the other end
but screams were all he could comprehend
His Mother though she cried
knew from herself deep inside
her son had to do what was right
even if it meant the end of his life
The inspiration to save lives
even though everyone knew the flight was lost
A few brave souls paid the ultimate cost
The song GOD BLESS AMERICA everyone sings
As Thomas Burnett Jr and Mark Bingham are given angel wings
I swear this world will never forget
what you did to serve and protect
With the utmost love in your heart and without regret

" Lets Roll "
Todd Beamer tried to call his wife from the air phone
but he could not get through.
All he heard was the operator's tone
He began to relay what was going on
In the hopes that something
might help when he was gone
The operator took down all she could get
and made a promise not to forget
Please tell my wife I love her and the boys
as he relinquished to the operator all his joys
Now please let her know he began to speak
to remember my love for her and the boys
when things get bleak
Tell her that I couldn't just sit still and not try
But I am willing he said to help fight back
and protect the innocent I am willing to die
I know things are so out of control
But I must do something to stop them
so " Let's Roll "

On the day that Terror rang loud and clear
Many went to lend a helping hand
with determination as well as fear
Every soul wondering......
Do I make a difference
So many lives shattered
In a moment, an instant
Standing tall and on guard
for everyone in sight
Her torch held high
a beacon sending out hope
through each day and every night
Hope my friends stands strong
in the harbor of our hearts
beating now to a new song
A song of peace and life
to honor those who have past on
whose memories stay within us
even though they are gone

As I stand as a part of one nation under the divinity of love
I pray for healing to those in need
White, true and pure as a majestic dove
If Muslim, Seike or Arab was their faith
Only a select few carried out this mission of hate
As one nation brought together by terror
Please let us not continue
the hate from now until forever
Let us not dishonor the people who lost their lives
By carrying a dark torch of hate
to grow and thrive
So many lives have already be touched
by this senseless act of grief
brought into many home by the shadow less evil
called hatred the thief

I the Bald Eagle
Bird of the greatest Nation of all
