I'll probably make my kids costumes like every year, not sure what they're going to be yet though.

Last year my 8 yr old boy went as a night of the living dead zombie. I put fake bullet holes on his chest and they were so real looking he got queasy and wanted me to take them off...lol

I doubt I'll do it, but I was considering just wearing a goalie Jason-esque mask all day.

I have an authentic peasent gown I purchased from a medieval company. I adore it. It's a cream chemise and a dark forest green outer draping with lacing up the front and back bodice. I plan to wear it this year. Every year I add a bit more to the ensemble. I love it!

I doubt I will. I haven't anywhere to go that day, to my knowlege. (No school nor work as of yet.)

On October 31st my friends and I are going out trick or treating (as pimps and hookers :woot: ) and then I'm going to have a small private ritual at home. The following night I'm having a Halloween party, as we don't have school Monday and Tuesday.

Well, sometimes I buy their costumes, sometimes I make them. My son is a bit old for trick or treating anymore, but if it wants to dress up for a party or something, we will come up with something for him, be it bought or made.

My daughter is 7. Last year and the year before she was a *good & pretty* witch. The year before that she wore a plush giraffe costume. The year before that she was a ladybug... I just bought the shell. And before that, I created everything she wore.

This year, I was going to buy a premade costume, as she is getting picky. But today while in the dollar store, she found a pink and shite plush half face bunny mask with ears and all. So, she wanted it, and I asked her if she wanted to be a bunny for Halloween. She fell in love with the idea. So, I am going to scour second hand shops for a pink leotard, if that fails I will buy her one. Then she is going to wear white tights, her pink sparkle tennis shoes, pink socks, and I will find her elbow (if not then regular) white kid gloves. Then I will find a white pom pom big enough for a tail, and sew it to the butt of the leotard. I am also going ot make her a pink and white cape. Why the cape? Well because it can be down right COLD on Halloween. Even in a long sleeved leotard she will get cold. And she can be *princess super bunny*. She already has the tiara! LOL

My best friend and I are going as Maenads. We're even going to splatter blood (red paint) on to the costumes.

Early? I start planning mine in May!

I think, if I can find the money, I'll be revamping my Wench-ware, since we'll be goign to Faire close to Halloween. I'll likely also wear it to work as well ... if the boss doesn't have a heart attack about my well-tamed bosoms.

i still have no idea, as my band will be playing a show that night. i'll probably end up going in my ren faire garb. not exactly fitting to the music, but thats what i have....unless you people have ideas..

I just started a new dress for part of a Ren Faire costume. Usually I make them to be historical-fantasy, but this one is going to be pure fantasy. Garnet dress with a chainmail bra and skirt over top. We're going to Faire on the 22nd of October, so it will be finished by then. I'll probably wear it in to work on Halloween too.

It depends. I'm going to the Carolina Ren Fest with Eirwen Hartsock (who is rarely on here), and another friend. I have a dress my Gran made that I've been wanting to wear. This will be our third time. First time it was hot as... So the dress was a no-go. Last year, I wore burgundy dress from Wal-mart. (I loves that thing). I called it my druid dress, and the other one my Anne Boleyn dress. As it was made for an Anne project back in tenth grade. So, I will either go as a "druid" or "Anne" , depending on the weather and wether or not it's that time of the month. Sorry to say that, but they only have porta potties there, and the Anne-dress ain't going in a porta potty. What I want to go as in an elf, (Anne or druid), but I'm allergic to the ears. Like, if I were to wear those costume ears, I'd get serious burns.

I don't know for sure yet. I'm just dressing up cause there are a lot of kids in the neighborhood and they'll be trick-or-treating. I might just wear what I wore last year. It was a sorceress dress and cape...of course I'm going to add to it ;)

Every year I wear the same old thing... my vampire cape, pale make up dark eye shadow, blood red lipstick and the fake fangs...*sighs*... I need something new! But have no idea what to be... I never go anywhere, just great the kids at the door to hand out candy, but it's still fun to answer the door in costume... sooo... I will have to think on it some.

I'm thinking of resurrecting my Grim Reaper costume for a party with my co-workers. That costume has won me a load of awards... and free drinks. My nieces are dressing up as little kittens... last year they went as cows. They were so adorable that my sis took them in to be photographed... I attached the pic.

I'm thinking of having a halloween party for my friends on the Saturday. I've been a witch ever since I was 16, however (except for one year 3 years ago when I was a gypsy fortune teller). This year I'm thinking I'll go with the steriotypical halloween witch with green makeup and everything.

It's Hallowe'en (Hallow's Evening), in the interests of the Grammar Reich.

And I have no idea, as of yet. I was thinking of taking advantage of the Art Institute's industrial tech labs and fashioning a lightsabre handle, getting a good amount of clothe for a robe, etc.

Pumpkin smashers anger the Great Tangerine. Especially when he puts a good deal of work into his.

I don't know about myself, yet, but I still have fun dressing up. My daughter is bouncing between a nurse, a pink boy dog, a cop, and a ghost.

My son, I may make him a little soldiers' uniform

OR you could always..carve the pumpkins and put something nasty in them that smells really bad and takes forever to get out of your clothes..so when they smash them SPLAT they get it in the face and ALL over their clothes :) im rotten by the way..but thats what I would do..

Halloween is on a Sunday this year, so I'm doing a Spider Goddess costume - something simple because I'll just be at home answering the door. I bought a sheer black cape with purple webs on it - I'm going to wear my long black dress, spray my hair purple, draw some webs on my face and glue a few fake spiders around for effect. Oh, and spider web earrings from Hot Topic

Don't know if I'm going to be at a serious Halloween party this year... if I do though I'd probably do the whole shaved-head/black robes/pentagram look, maybe do the non-permenant tatt thing on each cheek... not that I'd ever consider shaving my head, right Avalon? *guilty look* :hahugh:

If I can get around to getting the pattern for the skirt, I'm going to make and dress up at school as Yuna from Final Fantasy X. I want to make a really good costume for a change that people can recognize.

hehehe, I think I'm going to go as a Catholic schoolgirl gone wrong type thing. Pleated skirt that's about 8 inches long now, fishnets, my Converses, this collared black tight shirt I have, that I'm probably going to cut a super-low v-neck in, and lots of chains and jewelry. :D
