Naillosotarrain asked me to do this. :) I make both the quick store junk and my own cinnamon rolls. I prefere to make it in the form of a loaf of bread complete with frosting. You need the following,

2 cups flour 1 egg 1 tablespoon yeast
3/4 cup water 1/8 teaspoon salt 1tablespoon sugar

For the filling,

1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup raisons 1/2 cup walnuts 1/4 cup shredded coconut

For the frosting,

powdered sugar milk

Mix the filling in a bowl or a bag first. You need to blend it well. Then mix the bread dough. Let it rise then kneed it and roll it out flat. Spead the filling over the dough then roll it up like a jelly log. Brush finished log with a beaten egg or with melted butter and let rise. After about 30 minutes bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. Take enough powdered sugar to fill a coffee cup and add milk a few drops at a time until it forms a slow flowing semi liquid. You can then use the frosting on each piecce as you cut it or on the top of the loaf. :)
Enjoy this is my own recipe and the measurements may not be exact I use my hand to measure everything except the flour and the water. I don't even give this recipe out to my family so that should tell you how much I like this place. If you have any problems with the recipe just let me know and I'll try to answer them.
I prefere to do the dough part in my bread machine. It's cheating I know but with 4 kids and 3 freeroaming cats it keeps strange items out of my dough and frees my time for more important things.:D

I love my bread machine! It really is a great thing to have I can make bread, bagels, pizza crust, ect..... I got one from my dad one year and it has been a blessing. I want a second one. I personally never cook my bread in it I don't like to dig out the blade once it's done cooking. I just use the dough cycle. I also do ravioli which I'm most likely making this week. Sad to say I have no short cuts there my kids killed my pizza cutter. That darn thing cuts prep time in half! I think I need to make my small one some pretzels. He is upset my vcr just died. :(
