I know I must have spelled that wrong. I was wondering if anyone wanted to help devise a set of games and rituals for children that were multipath. Then publish and split any income? I thought maybe it would be fun as a group project that we could do via the boards then organize and publish. At least our kids would benifit from this as would we. To do this we have to stretch our imaginations but I don't forsee this being a problem. I was going to try to do it alone but I thought I should put the idea here first and see if anyone else wanted to do this.

A Fanstastic idea! I bet my wife didnt see this post or she would have already replied.
I am in. Whatever you need...name it.
My wife was wanting to do something similar not too long ago, right before we started the Mystic Wicks site.

I was afraid you wouldn't find this an apropriate place to gather a writing group but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm really glad you like the idea, hopefully we can get some thoughts going. I was thinking that if we started by listing major holidays then deciding who wanted what we could start with simple rituals that taught the basic meanings in a gereral manner. Any clues or does this sound like a good place to start?

The idea is sound... let us know the particulars and I am in.
No particulars yet? I can wait :).

Hehe...impatience is sometimes a virtue.
So...if this is for kids...then lets start with each Sabbat and brainstorm some ideas on how to explain it to a budding Pagan.

I like to consider myself an author, and I'm a wannabe editor, so I'm definatly in on this project... anything to get more experience.
I have lots of stuff in my BOS for kids, as well... from foods to activities to prayers.
This could be a lot of fun :)

Starting with the sabbat's sounds fine to me. Now we just need to figure out who is doing what and we can start. Everyone is welcome on this there is no way I cold do as good of a job alone as we can if we work togeather! Thank you. This is going to be great even if our kids wind up being the only ones who use it! The hardest part will be to make it easily adaptable by all paths.

Ok. Then lets keep all of this here in Pagan Family..that way people can read through our progress.
Any new thread that is started for this project should have this in the subject:

k?
Lets start with Yule. (The Sabbats) We can discuss how this should be presented.
New thread?

Yes I have brought up the idea of this to Mol several times. However, rather than educational, I had in mind just fun little stories with a pagan theme. The educational ones sound neat too. I will help in any way I can. For illustrations I just happen to know a very pagan friendly artist who may be willing to donate some time if he has any. Yes J.P. I mean you brother!!!

What a great idea everyone. I wish you well on it. Altough, I can see a real issue if it becomes published. Being written by so many different individuals.
Unless you set it up to go to a charity in the name of the community?
Just a thought.

I figured if we got published divide the profits after expenses equally bythe number of people that worked on it. Anything not dividable could be put in the bank until it is? I was thinking more of the kids but my pocket does fit in there too I've got 4 kids that cost a lot of money. Just like everyone elses I would imagine:D If someone has a kid that isn't expensive I want to talk to them I want to learn what they are doing that I'm not.

Should we post things that aren't Yule / holiday related as well?
I have a really good article on a children's Book of Shadows that could be used....

Well, the article I have explains how it can be done.... in short... you start collecting when your child is really young... you add things that they have participated in, what their reactions are (I went to a ritual where this kid spent the entire time walking arond the circle)... or little chants they make up, what their favorite stuff is.... and get the child to decorate a cover for it....and you keep it while they grow up, (sentimental value) or they can integrate it into their "grown up" bos...
