This is a thread for people who cruise the message board, but rarely post :geez: . Post away, about anything you want. Put aside the lurkiness and show yourself!

MW is already a warm non judgemental community and makes easy (at least for me) to post, im just shy by nature... I think i just need sometime to come out of my shell... see like now... i really dont know what else one can do... what i still havent done is have a conversation with someone... But with time!
Just stay the way you all are!

Most of the time I dont have anything to say, or if I do someone else has pretty much said it already.

Most of the time I dont have anything to say, or if I do someone else has pretty much said it already. Hey There Larry!!
hmmmmm ..... *thinking about your words there*
"Not having anything to say" has never been my problem ...
But fear of how others will judge what I say ...
Now that's the problem that I'm trying to overcome.
Fortunately ....
As Mayru said, MW truly IS a warm, and "non judgemental community"
So it's getting easier all the time to chirp up with my own views.
Actually ....
I'm betting you have lots to say Larry!!
Just say it!!
Well .... unless it's going to hurt me wee feelers ... In which case ...
KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!!!
LmaoOOOoooooo ... kidding mate!!

I'm a confessed lurker. My feelings are similar to Mayru's. I love this community - I'm just shy..... and more of the observer type. I've been an introvert for nearly 30 years.... haven't found the cure yet!

Introvertedness is NOT a disease to be cured. Don't beat yourself up over it. Would you believe I'm introverted? Yeah, me, with 5K post count. LOL Seriously, I'm terribly shy until I get to know people, then you can't shut me up.
But, back to you. Don't be despondent about your shyness. If you hardly ever say anything, but enjoy the feeling of being here, that's more than okay. :)

Hi, another lurker..... I am not so much shy as extremely people wary (twice bitten, forever shy!), and I usually have nothing useful to contribute.

You're absolutely right Tigress!!
If you simply don't want to post ... don't!!
No one should ever feel for any reason, as though they HAVE TO.
But I would sincerely hope that if anyone is lurking in the background,
Because they are simply to shy, or lack the confidence to post ....
That they would soon come to see and know, that MW is the kind of place that's honestly full of wonderful positive energy!!!
The kind that says ....
"you're welcome here ... please feel free, and confident to post"

Ohhhh sheeeesh ... *laughing* ... it was fun saying hello to all those folks!!
And as I said earlier ... it's a Great thread!!
If there had been a "Calling All Lurkers" thread when I first came into MW ..
It might not have taken me so long to start posting.
Thanks for starting it!! :yourock:

I am a shy lurker too.
Now all if you, Stop laughing! I really am!
Seriously, I read waaaay more than I post. And compared to many of you, my post count is *small.* It took me 3+ years to get here. But slow and steady wins the race.. :T
But to all of you who lurk and never post-- come on and join in the fun!!

That sounds like me too. I haven't lurked as much here on MW, because I only found it about a week ago, but I've done nothing but lurk on other Pagan sites. This is the first Pagan site I've managed to get over my shyness and actually post. :d Everyone seems much more warm and welcoming here!
Oh, and when I do overcome the shyness, I tend to overcompensate and you get just complete, downright goofiness, so I think I come off kind of spastic sometimes, but I'm really not!
