hello, you may remember me from a few posts ago..:)

I was just wondering, i'm still searching for a path...but am having trouble finding one..here's what I believe etc..

well, I find it hard to worship and believe in something i can't see, so that is why I find that to worship the earth is just for me...it's there we can walk on it etc..

I use Magick, I'm sure about that..

I'm just confused...I'm not sure about all this God and Goddess stuff...it's all a bit complicated to me...especially as I'v been reading about the Feri Tradition...there are so many different Gods, Goddesses and deities...

can anyone help?

Thats what got me started. As for God and Godess, you don't have to both. You can have one or the other or many of both types. If really finding yourself just Earth Worshiping you should just find an Earth Goddess to Worship. There are a lot of books out on Earth Magic or Goddess Worship witch meight me your type of thing.

Remember that you don't have to worship ANY God or Goddess. I personally believe that the gods are just "manifestations" of a bigger power, which is neither male nor female, nor even "human" in appearance, it's just energy. Some people have trouble envisioning this energy so they interact with the gods and goddesses who embody this energy in an image we can understand and relate to.

For instance, I choose to interact with this energy in the guise of Isis, but I am aware that there is more to it than just worshipping the image of Isis. For a more masculine energy I find I am drawn to the Hindu god Ganesh.

Some people choose not to interact with the gods at all. My husband is what he calls an "elementalist" - he works more with the elements of nature - fire, air, water, earth. And that is his path. So maybe, if you are having trouble following a god or goddess you could look into working with the elements a bit more as they are very nature based. Scott Cunningham's book "Earth Power" is very interesting to do with working with the elements.

Good luck!

Welcome,

Pull up a comfy seat and have some lemonade.

I am quite sure you will find your way, especially if you ask for help from folks. There are plenty of resources here, both people and links.

Enjoy and learn, it's fun, ya know!
