Magic and Politics

I recently posted something about magical things we can do about the violence in the Middle East. That got me thinking about magic and politics. I know Chris Penczak arranged a day of magic for gay marriage rights. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned on WitchVox. I also know that some witches do rituals for the healing of the earth, which is a political issue as well. As far as I understand (correct me if I'm wrong), Dianics do rituals for women's rights and reproductive issues.

So should we be using magic in the political realm or shouldn't we? What do you think?
