Very cool, I didn't even know those existed...Thanks for the link my (skydiving/scubadiving/any other hobby that can kill you) fiance will love the idea.

If I hadn't happened to turn on discovery channel this morning, I wouldn't have known they existed either. Looks cool though.

I don't think its right. I'm not trying to be a buzz kill but these bears shouldn't be made comfortable in the company of busses. They'll stop being scared of them and then wander out in front of one and get hit. Plus these are wild animals that should be feared because they do and may attack someone who gets too friendly...
Its the same thing with whale watcher boats and things.. Whales get used to the boats, stop fearing them, then get hit and mangled by a motor boat.

First off, those busses go about 3 m.p.h. You walk faster than those go. Next, it's in the Arctic. Not like there's a big superhighway there. Last, there's a reason why they are so high up: So they can't attack. Yeah, polar bears look cute, but watch one rip apart a seal sometime.

Most places that do whale watching or things like this are extremely respectful of the animals.
