with regards to finding out more about your chart you can either go to somewhere like http://www.astro.com which will produce a birth chart for you telling you where all the planets are & what your ascendant/descendant is. As far as I know this only tells you where they are, not what their significance is.

The other way to find out more would be to draw up your own chart (if you have time) or get someone else to do it. For the record I draw up & interpret natal charts for people, so if you're interested let me know.

I guess it all depends on the entire chart and how you blend with each other...I'll use me and my love for an example.

Technically, Aries and Scorpio together isn't supposed to be that good a match...most 'popular' astrology books will tell you that in a love relationship, the sex will be great but you'll fight about everything else! (Note: that's only half true! lol) :lol:
They'll also tell you that Aries and Scorpio both want to be in charge, that Aries hates secrets and Scorpio is full of them, etc, etc. But past all these generalizations, if you go deeper into the charts between 2 people you can generally see reasons why they like or dislike each other.

I'll just give a few brief examples: My Aries Sun is at the very end of the sign, so that it conjuncts his Taurus Moon. So while my particular Scorpio IS the very secretive type, my Sun with his Moon (emotions and security issues) makes him a little more emotionally open to me. Doesn't hurt that I also have Venus in Taurus either.
We also have several conjunctions, meaning that a lot of our planets are in the same sign, most by very close degrees. We both have Jupiter in Cancer and Mars in Leo, etc. It gives you a common ground, you kinda know where the other person is coming from when you have planets and signs in common.

It all just shows why you have to look beyond the Sun sign...any two signs can get along when they have other supporting aspects. Even if they don't, there's something to be said for the sometimes strange powers of love! :lol:

At first me and my girlfriend fought a lot and broke up a lot too, but we got back together many times. We get along really really great now.

I read somewhere that someone w/ a Scorpio Ascendant will have a stronger Scorpionic personality than a person who only has a Scorpio sun alone. My girlfriend doesnt have any other planets in Scorpio. So basically we're similar. Her Aries ascendant compliments my Aries sun and my Scorpio Ascendant compliments her Scorpio sun. Thus there is a mutual attraction between us.

Our moons are compatible. Also, our Mars through Pluto are all in the same sign, since we are only 6 months apart in age (She's older). Maybe that helps.

Well, im really not sure about that. My brother is a scorpio and im a leo. we never got along(might be sibling rivalry in my case) . but Angelwulfe father whom is also a scorpio(born on Samhain at that!) I get along just fine with
