odd question

OK, I'm throwing this out to all of the peer councillors...this is not for me, but there is someone on here in a potentially dangerous, very abusive situation...and this might not be a good idea...but is there a way someone could contact this person, and help this person out?

Is it possible for you guys to initiate contact? I'm really afraid for this person, who does not seem to have the capacity at present to deal with the problem at hand.

First off, let me just clarify that none of us are professionals. So, if your friend is in serious danger, see if we've got resources listed for their area in the Sticky here in the forum and pass that information along. If it's not listed, PM Aine and see if she can get some resources together for you (she's a much bettwe whiz at this than I am!). Secondly, it would be best if your friend initiated contact... if they don't want to talk, there's not much a PC is going to be able to do for them.

With all that being said, if you'd like someone to go ahead and reach out to your friend, let me know and I'll try to find someone to speak with them. :)
