Well this may be a bit of a story but here goes...
My Daughter comes running up the stairs of our apartment screaming Mommy you gotta come quick you gotta call Chelle! I grab my phone and run outside to see what all the comotion was about and there with about 10 kids around it is a poor cat. I get there and it seems that it has been attacked by something .. It has a large gaping wound on its right rear hind area and tail and a large cunk missing just at the knuckle on its right front paw. Well in the miniute im looking at this animal my daughter falls in love with it so i wrap it in a towel and take it to the apartment.. My friend and her Husband come over and help me clean the wound and take care of her a bit for the night as they know much more about animals than do i . Very docile animal at that all the poking and prodding on this open wound and not one nip at any of us. Then my Friend Jessi just in from a week long business trip dropped everything to drive me 45 miles each way to a Vet i know who looked closeley at "shelly" as my daughter has named her. gave her some anti-biotics , rabies shot and deep cleaned the wounds... Thank god she will not loose the paw as long as i keep it clean as it broke no nerves and did not affect the tendons. and the place on her haunch we caught it with anti-biotics in time to fight of the small ammount of infection. So in this long story is for me to say ... wish my family good luck as we have grown by one wounded kitty that needs all the love Ajulia and i have to share with her.

Never take for granted how special your friends are and how quick they will help you .. even in the smallest manner when they are true friends.
