Hi all!
The Labrys is a double headed axe. It's used by a lot of Dianic Witches as a symbol, unsure of their meaning. It's from ancient Greece, more specifically Crete.so older than Greece. The symbols are all over the island. We get the word labyrinth from it,another name for an underground maze.
Peace and love

Through the Isle of Crete, it is also linked to the statues of bare-breasted women, with snakes in each hand -- which some anthropologists have suggested are linked to the Serpent Goddess who dwells beneath the ground (the Labyrinth?) ... and after that you can tie-in all the regenerative stuff usually associated with snakes.
I have heard some people claim the statues are actually of the Goddess herself - but the most popular view seems to be that they are priestesses, as the wall friezes found seem to indicate that the flounced skirts and lowcut bodices were the fashion for women of that area.
