Ok, this time I pulled 1 card out as well as a rune...

Chryssi1...the card I pulled for you is the 3 of Swords and the rune is Kenaz. The card has 3 different types of tree saws hanging from the middle of a forest area. In the background are the stumps of cut trees. In the foreground, there is a cross section of a cut tree with many layers of rings showing. There is a crack running almost through the whole diameter of the section. Ferns and plants are growing around it. Between the rune & the card, it's talking about using your natural resources and using the proper tools for the right task. You have to discern what works best in different situation...it may not always be the same. Focus on the balance of your physical, mental & spiritual self. Don't shortchange one for the other. Like the ecosystem of a forest, there is a balance. Everything works in conjunction with each other and not in isolation. A tree is cut down but that's not the end. The space is made for a new tree to grow in it's stead. Like ideas & thought, examine them & use your judgement...discarding one thing may lead to a beginning of something new.

Dria El...the card is the Chariot & the rune is Jera. On the card, there are 12 standing stones, all tied with different coloured ribbons, all leading to the centre. The stones & ribbons resemble a wheel. On each stone, the 12 astrological signs are engraved on the surface. Behind them, a black outline of a dancing Goddess is sillouetted against the night sky. She is connected to the planets around her. There is a sense of a big change or completion of something major. Maybe it's to make a committment in a relationship...I'm not sure. I get a sense that this is all tied in with other people. In any major outcome, there a lots of little things that must happen first. Whatever this is, it says to go slow, otherwise someone will come out the loser.

Hestia...the card is 6 of Cups and the rune is Laguz. The picture on the card shows 6 broken pots sitting out in a rainstorm and lightning. The green plants are trying to grow through the mud & rain. Above the storm, the sun is trying to come out through the clouds. Between the card & the rune, there is a sense sadness & difficulties. But there is also a sense of hope as well just like the sun coming through the clouds, there is an end in sight. The rain may beat down the plants but they also bring life to the plants as well. You might have lost something but because of what happened, but you can use this to create a new future & new security.

Wildchild, your card descriptions sound wonderful. It must be great working with this deck. :) I really felt that the part of balancing the physical, mental and physical self was completely on the mark. I have been working so hard spiritually in the recent past, that I have been neglecting the physical and mental. And just recently, I have been focusing on the physical enviroment, and forgetting all about the rest of me. I need this balance. Thank you for the reading, I know what I need to be concentrating on the next few days now.
