I saw a really ugly really old man in a second cup reading a magazine article titled "How to be a pimp in 10 days."
I personally would not want to have him as my pimp...

Not recent, but about ten years ago, there was a cemetery about 40 miles outside of Hannibal, MO that had a billboard overlooking the grounds. The billboard belonged to a bank, and on this particular occasion, the billboard had nothing more than the bank's slogan: "Good people to know."

Well....that certainly makes you think twice about setting foot in that bank. *coughs* Yeah, think I'll stay with our credit union.

Nope, but I drive through all the time! I go through Kansas City, and then cut north to catch 36 all the way through Hannibal and into Illinois, where I was born and where my grandpa still lives. :D I know the area quite well! Probably driven it 100 times.

Our local Little Caesar's Pizza has been permanently closed due to an e. coli scare. We got pizza from there two weeks ago.

Well, let's see. I once saw a hearse parked outside a resteraunt. There was a Jenny Craig clinic right next door to the Big and Tall clothing store (more ironic than disturbing, I guess), a road by a cemetary with a Dead End sign, and a hole bunch of hilarious signs on various web sites.
