Hello! Yes,I'm back for a bit. I changed jobs, moved, changed jobs again and am now in the process of finding another new place to live,so who knows how often I'll be around? LOL

This spring I moved into a duplex which was built about 100 years ago .The energy wasn't bad,but I figured it hadn't been cleansed since the first renters moved in all those years ago.So, one sunny warm spring day I got out my trusty sage smudge stick and proceded to go through the entire house, from cellar to attic (4 floors/14 different spaces) and bless each wall, window, floor, ceiling and doorway, repeating myself three times for each. Then I let the stick burn out. When it had,I opened a window in each room as well as the doors. Talk about a rush of energy!!!
I have always felt good and powerful about what I do,but when I had finished it felt as if I had "gone up" a level.

So,even if one is a solitary/non-Wiccan there are levels of ability and a good way to increase your ability is to use it!

Blessed be!

What a wonderful experience to have been through. Thanks for sharing, as I'm sure your experience will help others gain confidence in their magickal workings. I know it gives me courage.

Love & light,

Thank you.
I have found that none of the written rituals totally suit me,so now I look through the books for ideas and design my own. I imagine that years ago, before books were owned by commoners and before most people could read, the majority of rituals were self-designed for each situation. So,in a way,I'm merely going back to my family's roots.

The best thing you can bring to any ritual is the knowledge it will work. Good luck and let me know when you "do something" ? :p
