Protection spell or amulet for my son

My son is just starting to walk and I, being a worried Mama, want to keep him from getting hurt. Does anyone have any suggestions for a spell or even a bag or amulet that I can put in his crib or room?

I would look into the rune "algiz" or "eohl-secg" (which is the same rune, but it has multiple names).
Linden wood is great for protection, also - maybe you could carve the eohl-secg rune onto some linden and place that somewhere appropriate :)

Sorry I don't at least you admit your being worried thouh I think you mean over protective which is fine to a point but all kids got to learn the hard way sometimes.

I know that kids are going to get hurt, and my son falls down and bumps his knee and the like. He is starting to walk, and I know that bumps and bruises are going to come with that, but with all of the sad stories I have heard lately of small children getting hit by cars, etc., I want a little something extra. As far as I am concerned, a simple protection charm or spell won't hurt.

My grandmother use to do this with me and I now do it with my boys...I envision a white light surronding them...protecting them from serious harm. No small feat since my 6 y/o is utterly fearless. I was walking with boys across a street in downtown Chicago over the summer...and by mere inches did my 6 y/o avoid being hit dead on. Scariest moment I think I've had. It's normal to worry and there's not a thing wrong with wanting to make sure that no serious harm comes. This sounds deceptively simple, but, in my experience, works wonders.

It might perhaps be easier for you to find certain stones and put them in a little bag, perhaps with some herbs. I personally like black tourmaline, agate and tiger's eye--and I have all three myself and can attest to their strength! :)

those are stones that might be placed around the house (out of reach of course :P) to protect your son. Blessed Be!

stones are a good idea...what kid doesn't like the pretty shiny things!? I know I've washed jeans with lots of stones in them over the past 13 years...... of course sometimes there were also piles of sand, toys, gum, pens, money.....heh. Anyway, I digress. The stone / crystal idea is a cool one.
