Has anyone ever tried taking a picture of an Orb with a camera?
Ive heard you can only use certain cameras to catch an orb...I dunno.
I tried doing that once in an old cememtary but no luck....no orb.
Anyone else have better luck?

No I've never tried. I was under the impression that most cases had been faked anyway?

I have a few pictures of my Grandaughter with orblike things in the picture...they were taken with a 35mm camera. I guess it could be dust or something, but from what I've been told dust looks different. I would be interested in hearing other opinions on this too. If I can get my scanner to work I'll post one of the photographs. I guarantee no one faked any of my photographs in any way.

No, but I have a lot of photos that look like they have orbs in them. I just had a very dusty lens. It seems to be a real problem with digital cameras. I've had a load of photos ruined by it so i'm scrupulous at cleaning my lens now.

Rain-
Is the dusty lens only true with digital cameras, or is it true with all cameras?

I don't know to be perfectly honest, it's just something I noticed when I first got my new camera and I ended up with a lot of ruined photos. I soon figured out that if I cleaned the lens then it didn't happen. I didn't notice it as much with my normal camera, but then I didn't take half as many photos.

Some examples are here http://www.mysticwicks.com/showpost.php?p=837809&postcount=20

I've marked them with little red arrows in each pic, some photos are worse than others.

Its funny..i got orbes alot if i was in a certain room in my moms house.. Finally i told the orbes to either appear in human form or leave me alone..
I got a picture taken outside later that day and i remember thinking how much i wished my best friend could be with me.. Then in the picture there was a bunch of orbes outlining what looks like a human form.. But no details.. just orbes around the outside.... Its even on the negatives so i could get the picture redone..
I took it to a photo expert and he was lost for words.. Because there was NO WAY it could of looked that much like a human form... And the print dont match any of the other photos on my roll.. The height ect didnt fit..

I've never set out to try and capture an orb but here are a couple of photos my husband took this weekend. He had just cleaned the lens before he took these. The pics were taken within a matter of secs of each other. The first one was orb free but the second had a big one and right after my husband snapped it the cat freaked out and hissed and slapped at something we couldn't see. He didn't see anything when he was taking the pic but when we downloaded them, there was the orb. It was strange!

My sister went photo crazy after we figured out it wasn't dust or anything in the air or somethin wrong with the camera. These pictures are in her room, there are always TONS of them in there..we have pictures of them in every room in the house, some outside too. Honestly I cant say for sure that they are orbs-there is a possibility that its dust or something else...but I highly doubt that.

:hmmmmm: As for your question as to: can an orb be taken on a regular cam. I think so yes. I have had some in a few pics that I have taken. I took it with a disposable and also with my walmart 30$ cam so who knows? :hahugh:

I have this book called" how to hunt ghosts", in it the author(Joshua Warren) talks about orbs saying, that they are often caused by things like dust or a rain drop, so you should take some pictures intentionally to produce the orbs caused by conventional means so that you can tell the difference. He also says that the best evidence of orbs are caught on video tape, other than that, orbs appear to have a nucleus like a cell..sometimes" surrounded by bands-concentric circles emerging from it." He discribes it as an onion chopped in half.

I think some pics that have orbs in them can be atributed to eye glare or dust on the lense.
But I took this picture with my digital camera when our new dog was a puppy. It's an orb in motion. As normal we took several pictures and this was the only one with the anomoly.

Our house has been smudged with sage and sweetgrass, but we think that the previous deceased owner is still staying around. My best friend doesn't get a good nights rest because he claims he hears whispering. One night I was awaken to some one whispering "She's pregnant" in my right ear. My wife sleepson my left side (and isn't pregnant). :fpipesmok

I've got tons of piccys with orbs in them, however, to be sure they are orbs I need to get another camera to see if they show on that one too. I did hear that orbs only show on digital cameras. I have seen one with my own eyes before right next to me.

I don't believe that orbs only show on digital cameras because they are only a new technology and there are loads of documented cases from before they were readily available. Sometimes there are explanations such as dust or insect reflecting light, but I also believe in some cases there simply is no other way to explain it. Just be aware that if orbs consistently show up in a batch of photos taken at the same time then there is probably a perfectly good explanation for it. Your shutter speeds can also be a factor in some light anomalies as it catches something that apears to be moving which is just a stationary light.

Rain is right. Orbs show not only on digital cameras, but also traditional film cameras. The why a digital camera can produce false orbs (besides what has already been mentioned) is if the resolution is turned down low on the camera (so you can squeeze in more photos on the card), when ther is an area the camera cannot decifer, it tries it's best to fill it in. Sometimes these areas come out looking like orbs and sometimes that come out looking like diamonds.
