I just got off the phone with my friend. While we were on the phone, I heard a beeping noise, like someone had pressed a button on the phone. I ignored it but after a second I thought "Wait a second...I didnt push any buttons" So I asked her "Was that you?" And she said no, she was on a cellphone and with her phone, you can lock the keyes durng a call so you dont accidentally press any buttons or hangup. So....if nither one of us did it....then.......**Tiwlight Zone Theme plays**

That was happening on my land line a few weeks ago, I was talking to my mum to see how Jess was with her and I kept hearing odd bleeps and pips coming down the line, mum had no idea what it was and jokingly said that the lines tapped because she's let slip that she is going to blow something up.
The bleeps and pips on the line continued until I found out that my phone line was stuffed. Thankfully thats fixed :)

Wow I've never had that call-waiting thing! I would probably get really freaked out about it if that happened....I remember once my best friend and I were talking when all of the sudden I couldn't hear her voice anymore, and I was listening to a conversation between to women about baby food! :lol: That was really weird....

We dont...have call waiting....

And we DO have an extension to the main house line in my parent's room, but if someone else picks up that phone Id know immedieately because the sound gets MAJORLY amplified on my end so Id know instantly.
