Has anyone ever felt like, I know this sounds nuts, with a single suggestive thought... make it rain, or make it stop raining?
I'm not talking about on a clear sunny day, although it has happened on a partly sunny day... and on a cloudy day, wishing for the sun and seeing it peek though the clouds??
I don't know... what the heck is it? And why does it happen?

Coincidences or actions of powers we might not fully control.. Why does it happen? Why does G!d exist?

There is an extremely good reason why people call me "the official weather witch."
And that's all I'll say.

Well, of course. I managed to impress quite a few bored people one fine spring day while walking around the track in high school. :D

Yup. Once or twice. Either got it started or made it go by faster.

Thanks guys... that's just what I needed. At least to acknowedge the fact that I'm not just believing or make-believing something weird that occurs so repetitively. Thank you for your replies... no I know that I'm not alone. One time, I was thinking about a rainbow... and it actually appeared 15-20 minutes later, right outside of the laundry mat. The atmosphere turned orange and a stranger said there was a rainbow outside. It was so big an beautiful... I felt so blessed... It was the most amazing thing that has happened to me... besides having my children.

I don't know if you have ever heard of this or not but my elders use to call this soul wishes.
Or for lack of a better word Wishcraft. And it does work because you want it from your soul. You feel
the request or the wish very deep without realizing it . This is one of the neatest forms of magick and I was quite good at it when I was growing up. But, got a spanking once because I was playing with it.
never forgot that spanking. heeeeeeee

This happened to me just the other day. I was thinking of posting a thread asking the same question! It was amazing, it was raining pretty hard with lots of wind, It was an important day and I really needed it to be sunny.. so while I'm looking at the pouring rain I started begging "please stop raining please" and I imagined a beautiful, sunny day, and what do you know? 5 minutes later the sky cleared up, the sun peared through and it was exactly as I had imagined it in my head. That has been one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me.

Awsome... Just last night; I work 3rd shift... I went on break about midnight. Sat outside and looked up at the sky. I was in a pretty bad mood about work. I saw the moon being covered by dark clouds, so I gazed up and whispered "Show me the Moon" maybe 3 times- and that exact instant- the dark clouds shifted (after being pretty still, too) and the moon peeked out- glowing nicely and stayed out of the clouds for a few mins. That just made my night and I smiled and whispered "Thank you."

You're not alone. :) I too can seemingly make all kinds of weather come about......I've always been able to do it but never realized I was doing it until a couple years ago; others pointed things out to me. Rain, snow, wind.....I love it all.

..... a real spanking? Like parents do to their 3 year old kids when they find them playing with the power tools in the garden shed? If so that sounds pretty wierd, 2 possibilities come to mind. First that 'You got a spanking' for it raining outside, or second that instead of wishing for weather changes you were infact wishing for a Spanking. :hehehe:
I think it's a good job that I can't do this though, otherwise I imagine the number of deaths caused by lightning strikes would go up considerably. I just LOVE big thunderstorms. I used to stay up all night watching them when I was on holiday in the Welsh mountains.:)
