My husband's wedding ring came off his finger at some point in the last two days and we are really upset about it. And no, he didn't take it off on purpose. I was wondering if any of you have succesfully retrieved lost objects through spells and if so, what was the spell.

One very simple one I use is to take an empty glass or mug or what have you, and place it upside down on the highest shelf of my home. This is a promise to your household spirits that you will fill it with something very tasty to drink - ale, wine, milk and honey, etc. - and the very best you have if they help you find your lost object.

Everytime I have done this I have found what I was looking for, without fail.

I read this one in an Ann Moura book and have used it on occasion.

Write the name 'Benedida' on a piece of paper, then fold it several times. Announce to Benedida that you have her trapped and you won't let her go until she brings you what you're looking for. Once it shows up, unfold the paper, thank her kindly, and tear the paper up. :vanish:

Write what you've lost on a paper, put it in your hand, crumble it and say "Little Bo Peep" three times. It's worked everytime except for once for me.

I like the one to St. Anthony! :uhhuhuh:

There is a wonderful little spell for just such a loss in Dorothy Morrison's Everyday Magick. I love her spells .

iv found a ring i lost by asking to be shown within the dream state. i wrote a note asking the info on the paper, and to recall my dream! and put it under my pillow.
in the dream it gave me the place of it's whereabouts, in the morn i go searching, which was outside near the barbeque area. and there it was!!! after only a few minuits. it could of been anywhere in side or out.

good luck in your search!

Some one here on MW gave me this last year when my kitten dissappeared.
While I never did find him... I've used this charm a hundred times (perhaps more) over the past year and always with results within 24 hours!

Bound binding, binding bound
See the Sight,
Hear the sound,
What is lost
Now is found
bound binding, binding bound.

Then close your eyes and picture the object... try to see it where it actually is rather than where it belongs.

Good Luck finding the Ring!!!

You could try this chant I found on some site, I dont remember which site though....I use it all the time and most of the time I find the thing I was searching for =)
I just noticed its in swedish =P but I'll provide a translation =P

"Väktare över försvunna ting,
lyss till mig och sök omkring
Genom eld och vatten, luft och jord
Finn det jag söker och lyckan är gjord."

"Guardians over lost and found
Listen to me and search around
Trough water and fire, earth and air
Find what I'm seeking and I'll prosper"

(yes I know the last sentences doesnt really rhyme) =P

I had a hard time translating that last sentence and getting it to rhyme with the one before =P
I came up with some funny ones though =P

Trough air and earth, fire and water
Find what I'm seeking and please no slaughter

for a bald person who wants hair:
Trough water and fire, earth and air
Find what I'm seeking and also some hair

as you might noticed I'm not that good at making stuff rhyme =P

The simplest spell ever... It has never failed me... Picture the object, visualise a silver lasso and lasso the object in your mind. Slowly tug it towards you, and then end by visualising returning the object to its usual place. Works like a charm ;)

Awww that was a great translation! :nyah: I particulary like the first lines, I would never have thought of changing "försvunna ting" to "lost and found". But then again I suck... :smash:

Does anyone do remote viewing and/or object locaion? I found a hammer for hubby this way once. I don't know if it will ever work again, perhaps I just have a very good imagination...but...can I try?

Does hubby wear white shirts? Has he been to a grocery store recently? Could he have lost it there as he was checking out? :foh:
