Ideas for an Inspiration/Creativity spell?

My husband and I are trying to come up with something to give as a gift to a friend who is a writer. We would like to create a bottle as a sort of a charm for her .. but are lacking good ideas for how to go about creating this charm, other than the basics.

To help us brainstorm, I thought I'd ask the good people here, since you all seem so creative and full of ideas I'd never come up with. :)

The rune 'Os' is good for creativity. 'Os' can literally mean 'mouth', and is kind of the rune of speech, self expression etc.

If you have a tarot deck, you could use the Empress to enhance creativity. Or you could just look through all the cards and pick one that looks "creative" to you.

I associate the element of fire with creativity so you might want to include some fire somehow.

Labradorite is also a good one.

Green colours are good for creativity in general; yellow for intellectual endeavours and communication; blue for openness, honesty and especially good for spiritual writings. You can use a coloured bottle, or coloured ink for writing charms or runes.

The number three for creativity.

The Element of Air for communication.

Lavender for clear thought, and vervain or hazel for inspiration.

The signs of Gemini for communication; Aquarius for creativity.

The Sun for creativity and success, Moon for intuition and Mercury for communication.

I've always associated purple with creativity as well. You could also get little plastic or metal charms that say things like "create" or "imagine" etc. You could give the bottle with a couple candles that they could burn when writing. If I think of more I will let ya know!

seeds come to my mind when i think about inspiration and creativity; they have within them some amazing potential. i did a spell for inspiration and grabbed all sorts of seeds from the kitchen. apple seeds appeal to me especially for some reason.
