What is this YTT thing you speak of. Is is some sort of Christian ant-Pagan site? I would go to it but I don't want to be assulted if it is. I already hate fundies enough.

i personally get rather confused over the whole thing...I don't seem to be anti YTT? Although it may require the thing about getting teachings from one of -their- high priest/ess I dont really see any problem with it? [shrugs]

Y Tylwyth Teg are a US Wiccan group who maintain that they are a genuine Welsh Pagan tradition.

The claim has been called into question many times because of obvious factual inaccuracies in their representation of Welsh history and culture.

They have also been accused of plagiarising the work of other groups, including genuine Welsh Pagan groups.

Unfortunately they are not open about entering into debate over these allegations, and on many occasions have responded with abuse and threats of legal action when the allegations have been made.

They are not well regarded in Wales.

But I'm not sure about the point of a knocking site, personally I'd much rather give positive publicity to the genuine Pagans out there.

Ffred, the intent was not to knock YTT... just to show truth. Maybe issue a warning? Because I'm really sick of typing in Welsh Pagan or Welsh or Wicca Welsh etc and YTT being the first thing to popup.
